Clothes Maketh The Diva. Hatsune Miku Shows Off Her Project Diva F 2nd Wardrobe

By Eugene . October 11, 2013 . 2:08pm

Miku has a master-class stylist, I’m sure. I can be real sure of this because we’ve received a pile of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd screenshots showing off both the various Module clothings she and her friends can wear, as well as screenshots of the game in play itself.

Sega also say that a new “Double scratch” must be completed during songs. In essence, it turns the first game’s flicking of the screen for certain segments and has players now flick both side sticks (directional and button pads) at the same time. No word if this means we could multi-touch flick across the screen. It’s denoted by a W sign on the original star-shaped flick symbol.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd will be out for PlayStation 3 and Vita spring 2014.

Why do I get the funny feeling that they’re going to completely fuck over people who spent a massive amount of money on that arcade controller with those new note types

    • Freakmasta

      It’s Miku…she just wants your mon…love. Just be glad it’s no idolm@ster.

    • Erikdayo

Like myself. Needless to say, I am selling mine, and not buying the next revision of it. But I still have the mini controller which is cool too. :D

After they skipped the Vita f I see no point in waiting on them. I’m gonna save myself months of waiting for nothing and pick up the Japanese Vita version instead.

Anyone know how the first sold in the west? I would love to see this one make it too.

    • notforsale

Well according to PSNProfiles only 3190 people own the english version -_-” http://psnprofiles.com/trophies/2094-Hatsune-Miku-Project-DIVA-F

      • Quantum Blue

PSN Profiles isn’t exactly the most accurate measure of game ownership. The most owned game according to them is CoD Black Ops at 604k, and it sold a hell of a lot more than that.

Yeah I just realized it, my bad :P

    > Nekomimi Switch module
    > Sweet Devil module

So I’m guessing these songs will probably be in the game. Can’t be
too sure though since there are unrelated modules in previous titles
like dat sonic module and 7th Dragon 2020 module …. and in this case, Magical Mirai module doesn’t have a song related to it since it’s a module used during her Magical Mirai 2013 live concert — with that said, I’m also guessing some of the songs from Magical Mirai would also be in F 2nd. [Shake it!] by emon, plox! (on a sidenote, the latest Edit PV version of that song for Project Diva f was godly!)

And given the release date of “Spring 2014″, I’m guessing it will be on March 8 or 9, 2014.

    • Alexzander Shelton

It’s not really a Nekomimi Switch module though. It was first in the very first Project Diva game. The Sonic Module was the official module for Nekomimi Switch in Project Diva extend. That’s also not a Sweet Devil Miku module. It’s Heart Hunter, the first Project Diva game’s official module for World is Mine. To be honest, we can’t really confirm anything just from returning modules.

      • ekibyougami

Yeah I sorta rashly associated those mentioned modules. And oh yeah! I just remembered about Heart Hunter being used in [World is Mine] from the first game! Thanks for the clarification :D But the Sonic Module as the official module for Nekomimi Switch? o.O I dunno….

Anyways, what I am sure of is that one or few songs from Magical Mirai 2013 or next year’s March 9 Concert (as it is held yearly) would definitely make it in the list. I’m just hoping that there won’t be a lot of old songs from previous titles (not that I don’t mind, of course, since [Romeo x Cinderella] is one of my all time faves).

  • cyberkinghardy

    Can’t wait.

  • Neppygear

Are the costumes from F returning, tho? And would it be too much to ask for some of the Arcade modules? It’s kinda crap that the PS versions missed out on stuff like Kaito V3, Snow Miku 2012, and Sakura Miku.
(I know Sakura Miku is in DT Extend, but I don’t -have- DT Extend so it… doesn’t count!)

  • Philip Elthorpe

SEGA, You’re bringing back Miku’s old Nyanko and Heart Hunter costumes, the former being well known for Nekomimi Switch, the latter for Uraomote Lovers…

Please, please, for all your fans, promise us that this is coming to the west!
