Orange And Turquoise Nintendo 3DS XL Systems Coming To Japan In November

By Spencer . October 22, 2013 . 11:23pm

Nintendo announced two Nintendo 3DS XL colors just in time for the holidays. These Orange X Black and Turquoise X Black systems will be available on November 28.

The two systems will be sold in a special Limited Pack bundle which includes a 4 GB SDHC memory card, a cleaning pouch, and an AC adapter for 19,900 yen ($200). Yes, the AC adapter really is a bonus because Nintendo 3DS XL systems in Japan do not include an AC adapter. Even the limited edition Legend of Zelda system is missing one in Japan.

Wow, those look … Well, not bad, just not my favorite. I just hope we get purple.

  • Laer_HeiSeiRyuu

    I need da green

  • tubers

Mm.. the orange look sweet and tasty :)

  • Zero_Destiny

Oh man, both those colors are pretty nice. They complement the black (and each other for that matter) well! I guess I’m just a sucker for the buttons’ being colored Orange/Turquoise though.

  • Namuro

Man… Nintendo sure bombarded us with so many 3DS variations…

    …And they’re all very nice!

I’m really looking forward to seeing what Nintendo will push out next.

  • JustThisOne

That’s really pretty but… I wonder why couldn’t they make the analog stick match the colour too? It’s the only thing that’s “off” so far.

    • JuhRo

      balance, bro.

      Cant overdo it,

      • JustThisOne

:v But the black already balances it out! The fact that the gray isn’t a reoccuring colour on the 3DS already makes that one button stand out too much.

Not a huge complaint, really, but it’s just weird.

  • Time to replace my current Japanese 3DS with one of these new XLs. Loving my Xerneas XL for US releases, but hopping to my Japanese one is like going from a Gameboy Micro to a PS Vita for me now.

  • Logan Moll

Those buttons are really cool. They should do that for all colors from now on!

  • Kai2591

    The colours look like candy…mmmm~

  • Blesmi

Looks a lot better than I expected. I dig the halloween vibe of orange

  • Brandonmkii

That teal… all of my want

  • Ony

I’ll get the orange one and call it Samus :3

  • komiko12

The orange one is very nice.

  • ChiffonCake

    Damn, that orange looks slick.

  • HerokÔÖ×

I like it but I still prefer the solid gold inside of the Zelda XL(main reason I would get it)

  • Shadowman

The orange one looks really awesome, will there be a dark green one next?

  • Ninastars

I wish we had some in all pastel colours.

  • kylehyde

The orange one reminds me to a Krispy Kreme halloween doughnut. Great, now I want that orange 3DS and a Krispy Kreme doughnut.

  • TrueDefault

As much as I love my red one, I have to admit that orange one is very tempting!

  • James Enk

    the colored buttons look nice

  • Ban The Jackass

Oh no! Wallet, don’t go! I still need you for my three meals! And my necessities! Waitttt don’t go to Nintendoooooo! CURSES!

  • idrawrobots

    Happy Halloween.

  • EdgeKun

Man, both of those look so freaking slick. I think I’ll wait to finally buy my XL once these are released, but will just have to decide what flavor to get. ;_; Do i go with that lovely Turquoise? Or stay true to my love of Halloweeny things?

  • Unf. Those are quite handsome. I really hope we get both here, but that turquoise especially.

  • fireemblembeast

Because nothing says “holidays” like orange and turquoise.
I think that’s more light blue than turquoise though tbh

  • Orange is NOT the new pink. But, that turquoise one is quite a beaut. That would be my pick.

  • 07thCrow

Dang, I want that Orange one… but I already have my Red XL, so there’s really no point in buying another. :

  • The systems are beautiful, I hope they bring them to the U.S. next year, so that when I get a 3DS, I can get one of these. :D
