Marvelous AQL and Vanillaware made four new characters for Muramasa Rebirth, but none of them are in the game yet. Additional characters like a Nekomata, ninja, an oni, and a farmer inspired by producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto’s work on Harvest Moon will be released as downloadable content. This was announced alongside the Vita version and it’s almost ready.

Famitsu reports the downloadable Muramasa Rebirth episodes will be available in Japan on November 7. Aksys confirmed they will release the Muramasa Rebirth DLC episodes in North America.
Update: We have the scan now and only the first DLC, the Nekomata episode, will be available on November 7. There are four episodes total, which will be released separately.
