See Infinite Stratos And Higurashi In Namco’s Girls SRPG, Super Heroine Chronicle

By Spencer . October 30, 2013 . 11:42pm

Super Heroine Chronicle brings together anime heroines from Symphogear, Higurashi When they Cry, and even the ’80s anime series Dream Hunter Rem for a crossover strategy RPG.

The gameplay looks similar to the Super Robot Taisen series, but one new system is the you can shatter an enemy’s statistics. There are three main stats ATK (attack), SPD (speed), and HIT (hit rate). By utilizing the ability crash system you can cause different effects like ATK Crash which lowers an enemy’s attack or HIT Crash which lowers hit rate. If you can crash all three parameters it’s an instant kill, but watch out because enemies can crash your character’s stats too.

Super Heroine Chronicle comes out on February 6, 2014 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

  • Dark Zerato

I wonder if we can shatter enemy’s clothes like their stat ?

    • Mugen555

      This time no.
But it’s still same system as the one that used in Queens blade game

  • fyi1191

    Laura (IS) where are you?!

    • Yuan

There’s still 3 months ’till the release, so obviously this is not all the cast. You can spot Jeanne (Aria) who is still not oficially announced yet at 00:30

Anyway, they need to announce mosnter girls soon!

I…I need this. It’s not a question of want, but a question of NEED. o__o

    • Servant BerserCAR

I feel you. I think my life won’t be complete without this. >__<

  • http://www.jb2x.com/wordpress/ JB2X

Why can’t we have more of these kinds of games here in the states… I loved the crap out of Endless Frontier and Project Cross Zone. Not to mention the Super Robot Wars GBA games, too. We didn’t even get Endless Frontier Exceed :(

  • Sergio Briceño

Bandai-Namco should make more shiruraishon arupeegees like this one.

  • Jesse

Judging from this trailer, Shion’s in it as well, though I can’t tell if she and Mion, along with Rika and Satoko, act as one unit.

  • fairysun

Lol, a little bit fan service here and there.
The Infinite Stratos girls looks to be overpowered with all their suits and weapon arsenal. The other girls use more conventional weaponry (Higurashi girls use needle and stun gun).

    • Renaldi Saputra

and idk how about Sonico.. lol

      • Yuan

She’s just walking around enjoying sight-seeing!

        • Renaldi Saputra

          lol

      • M’iau M’iaut

Sonico has the biggest weapons in the game. And she is the most willing to use them.

        • Renaldi Saputra

          ohh

  • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

So many heroines, so much awesome. This NEEDS to be localized lol =^_^=

    • Renaldi Saputra

might be, but I don’t think so.. bcos there’s SRW mecha related things in it
well, at least we got clue of J-Stars Victory vs. localization, so maybe this might also

      • Serephitus

the only mecha i noticed were the Infinite Stratos, hopefully Harmony Gold douche bags don’t prevent this from getting localized like the SRW games. sometimes i wish that company would just burn to the ground

        • Renaldi Saputra

          you forgot Symphogear..

    • Fate

if this gets localized before a super robot wars title ill jump in front of a bus.

      • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

        Lol

  • Sergio Macellaro

    What a UGLY GAME!!!
    OTAKU SHIT GAME.
I cant believe they can do a better job on PSV.

    • Renaldi Saputra

      it’s Japan, why so serious?

      • Sergio Macellaro

        Sad but true…

        • Renaldi Saputra

I mean, why you’re so serious about this game? This is game targeted for otaku and maybe old otaku seeing that many characters are from early 2000s.. if you are not interested in this game, why bash it? Namco Bandai produce otaku games..

and idk why the hell I got many downvotes. I just wanna told that he didn’t need to bash because this is Japan and any anime related is business..

          • Sergio Macellaro

            I no bashed you.
I think you are right on the most.
But i dont do wrong too.

See Project X zone, is the same thing as this game, but, visuality, is WAAAAAYYY better.
And 3DS have a notoriuos inferior Hardware.
As a PSV game, Namco could do a better job, no a lazy bones shit game.
And the characters are sooooo ramdom….Mostly came from dated animê or moe niche.

Some ask for this game be localized, well, if does, i id buy it, but, it no make a game be “good”.

Even Project X Zone, isn’t a fair good game, at best playable, but a better chara choice make it be tolerable.
            That all.

          • Renaldi Saputra

I think you have a point too..
how do you think about the J-Starts Victory vs.? that game was kind of same like this..

          • Sergio Macellaro

Well, too soon to say for sure, but in “J” the chara looks way more convincent (no being a low res SD model is a given). Duo the pupularity of the cast it will sell well and have a good prospect to come to West.
To wrap the things up i need see a gameplay vid.

I understand portable games are intent do be low bugde and sell modestly, but it isn’t a excuse to do a lazy job.

PSV need good and memorables games to estabilish your brand (psp rarely out sell DS, but have a pletora of remarkables games, and won a place in the gamers heart).
            What Vita have?
P4, Uncharted, Killzone, Muramasa, Dragon’s Crown, Soul Sacrifice and Last Reward…Or a port, an bastard ver of Uncharted, a “sequel”, an reimagined version of Odin Sphere, an odd-but-good game, a clone of MH and a Visual Novel.

Vita need more. In Japan good games was came and still came, but Western publisher still a tad timid about the console.

But i want to believe in PSV future.

          • Fate

            Vita need SRW title

          • Sergio Macellaro

            Good idea.
And don’t forget PSP is a treasure vault to be explored on PSV via digital releases (We will -maybe- see FSN:CCC on 2014).

  • ShadowDivz

It so weird for me to see sonico in this. I thought she would only be in dating sims and whatever.

Also, that happy Rina(on the ending image) is SO misleading…
Damn, i love how the logo looks.

  • Learii

I guess Japanese really hate to bight vita games to the west =( they bring project x zone for 3ds but not this for vita

  • Yuan

Changing Parts Crushing system to Skill Crushing system is pretty good because in Spiral Chaos series, the system is not applied to regular monster and male enemies. Though a bit disappointed they don’t put in Defense Skill to even the number.

  • Prinny Dood

If they localize this game probably won’t be til 2015 >:(

  • Theob Vious Choice

Yay, a release date! WALLET IS CRIT FOR 9999!
    Wallet has died.

    So many good releases…. :P

  • Jesse

I saw at one part that there seems to be two routes in the game.

  • Brandonmkii

I’m still holding out for more series to be announced :B
