Well, at least Sakura Wars isn’t totally forgotten. Sega partnered with Mobage to make Sakura Wars for Mobage. The game will have an original story with different characters from the Sakura Wars series.

Sakura Wars for Mobage has a new gameplay system that involves changing costumes. Details about how this will change gameplay have not been announced. Signups for Sakura Wars for Mobage start today and if you register early you’ll get an ultra rare Sakura Shinguji card. Service for the game is scheduled to kick off this winter.
