I bet it’s another masterpiece by Liar-Soft, one that I won’t play anytime soon because of my poor japanese skills.

Here a more detailed synopsis frm VNDB in case any1 is curious:

In 1907, the advent of steam power and excessive use of it caused the air around New York to turn dark. There was an unexplained disaster called the “great disappearance” 5 years ago and the government blocked off the city. Now, there’s only one girl who walks in the ruins of the city: Elicia. Meanwhile, down below the ruins, Lily looks at the ‘sky’ which is stained purple. She doesn’t have any memories, but she knows that she has a mission to reach the edge of the purple sky, Manhattan. A mysterious boy A accompanies her and along the way, they learn more about the truth from others and are attacked by monsters on their journey. What is her true purpose? What actually happened 5 years ago to New York?

Sounds interesting and it have nice art. VNDB also listed a patch for the PC is in the works as well so count me hooked.

Is this usual for some of these companies? Like, isn’t the new Steins;Gate coming to 360 and not PS3? You would think PS3 would be the lead platform, especially with the visual novel format being so popular in Japan.

    • omenaaa

All the Steins;Gate games are also for ps3 (except Hen’ikuukan no Octet) . Reason why ADV games were released for Xbox instead of PS3 was lower licensing costs.

Pretty cool. I’m still reading Sekien no Inganock myself. There’s alot of Visual Novels in Liar-Soft’s Steampunk series, and they’ve actually expressed interest in bringing the series to an english audience. I wonder if they’re still considering that.

I think this one is going to be translated on pc “soon”
