By Spencer . November 7, 2013 . 10:52pm

Legend of Raven aka Yatagarasu aka the indie fighting game with King of Fighters artist Kotani Tomoyuki is coming to PlayStation Vita plus PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Nicalis is handling the console version which utilizes GGPO netcode for online play. Legend of Raven also has a new soundtrack created by The Dirty Youth and enhanced artwork.

Legend of Raven is a Cross-Buy title, so if you purchase the PS4 or Vita version you get the other for free. The game is also Cross Play compatible which means one player can use a Vita and another a PS4 in the same fight.

Very nice. I am happy this game has a chance to shine. I love me some 2D fighters.

  • Nice to hear that this is Cross-Buy.

    • RichyGaming

      Cross-play would be cool too.

The article just said it is.

When I get this game I think I’ll try Main Hina or Shimo. Those two reminds me of the playstyle of Hibiki in Capcom Vs SNK 2.

    How about everyone else?

    • More like Urien from 3rd Strike just has a sword, I’ll be maining Jet (Dudley, Yun) Chadha (Q, Tizoc, Zangief) if they let him keep his combos from 4.2 and possibly Shimo or Jyuzo (Billy Kane, Yun, Fei and Gato) All inspired from Street Fighter and Kof. :)

So now it will be on every new system except 3DS. Interesting.

Can someone tell me why this isn’t just a PSN release and specifically PS4? It’s not like the game needs PS4 or Xbox1 to specifically run it.

    • TheExile285

Because every PSN release isn’t universal to PS3.

      • Shane Guidaboni

No, I meant why wouldn’t the developers make it a universal PSN release? A lot of people aren’t moving on to the PS4 for a while, so it makes no sense(in my mind) why they wouldn’t make it a PS3 release in addition to the PS4.

I’m really not feeling the title change or that logo. Seriously, how do you go from this:

    …to that?
