The Taiko: Drum Master series made PlayStation 2 its first home. Then the series moved to Nintendo DS and was on Wii for last generation. While there are Taiko: Drum Master games for Wii U and 3DS, Namco Bandai also made an iOS version.

But, Taiko: Drum Master just isn’t the same without an actual plastic drum to hit. In December, Namco Bandai will fix that with a Bluetooth taiko drum designed for iOS devices. The drum is 230 x 214 x 205 mm (length, height, thickness) and costs 8,715 yen ($88). The first 2,000 orders get a Don-chan drum cover as a bonus.

That picture is a lie, we all know Japan is full of Otakus who have waifu’s that are 2D and full of Japanese youth who 80% don’t want kids and in half a century the total population of japan will drop by more than half.

    Hey that’s cool

It’s kind of awkward to use a large drum with such a small screen… I’d rather it be like on the 3DS or DS, actually. :S

Wouldn’t be too bad on an iPad.. And looks like the girl in the screenshot is using one of those, if I’m not mistaken xD (I would love a 3DS version actually, with a drum included :P)

Probably a series we’ll never see in NA again. It’s a shame, I love those games.

    I don’t even care if I wouldn’t use it (because I don’t have an iphone)… It’s so adorable, I want it o-o

Is there a 3DS version of Taiko yet?? I miss dat addictive Taiko gameplay, the DS versions were brilliant :D Shame it will never get localised again though, and even bigger shame that the 3DS is region-locked :'(
