Swimsuit Costume DLC? Yep, Akiba’s Trip 2 Has It.

By Eugene . November 14, 2013 . 2:58pm

Akiba’s Trip 2 has been out since November 7th and like its title says, is set in Japan’s mythical holy grail land of Akihabara—home to vicious vampires waiting to suck your wallet dry whenever you lay eyes on beautiful new figurines, manga and other goods.

Continuing their tie-ups and nods to the land it is set in, Akiba’s Trip 2 has released its second batch of costume DLC, and amongst them are collaborative nods to fans with a Super Sonico clothing set and a Di Gi Charat Dejiko clothing set as well. These are both free.

Alongside them were also released swimsuits for Rin and Touko- these swimsuits will cost 500 yen each.

    I know it’s ultra niche and makes closed minded Westerners frown because of the game content but…this game has to come to the West~.

        Sorry to break your bubble, but unless the first game get a PSV port I really don’t see it happen ^_^;

        There are exception though so who knows?

    Just wondering, is there much of a difference in the Asia and Japanese versions? I’m thinking of getting this… then I also have to choose PS3 or Vita.

      Normally there isn’t but in certain cases it can effect DLC.
      Generally, if there is no plan for DLC to be released on the Asian PSN, the game will be able to use JP DLC from a JP PSN account. However if they intend to release DLC on the Asian PSN, the game might only be able to use teh Asian DLC… and they might not put all the DLC up on the Asian PSN.

      So a better question is “Can the Asian version use DLC purchased on a JP PSN account?”

      And that’s a question I too would like to know the answer to.

        Asian japanese versions are always compatible with J-PSN and vice versa.

    DLC aside, I hope it does well enough in sales. I so want to play this. Looks like a fun, adventure =)

    I would be happy to let’s them suck my wallet if they bring this game to the west.
