Yea, I’m going to need this to be a thing in the western release as well. Or at least for us to get 1 & 2 on PSN by themselves when this comes out.

    • Christopher Nunes

Even with my new job and earning more money… it’s STILL not enough to get all these games coming in the next few months! T_T

I wish games weren’t so expensive nowadays.

      • Solomon_Kano

The gamer’s plight. Well, at least this one won’t set you back a full $60.

Games are more expensive nowadays because of HD graphics.

With that out of the way, I’m glad this is preventing me from missing out from the original oldschool games.

Games were way more expensive back in the NES, SNES and Genesis era so what gives now?
The whole graphics thing is just an excuse for devs to give us crap like season passes.

Games were expensive then because of the cartridge format though, plus needed the much higher price RAM chips and other internals. These days, however, it’s is the quality and scope of the game requiring more people for each title or longer development times that keeps the price up.

I thought you were going to make a spam post; of how a friend of yours earned $1000 in a week without leaving home; lol XD

    I want them on PS4

  • Kris

Gonna have to double dip on this one. XD I want the game on PS4, but it would be cool to have a physical version to shelve next to my Japanese copy of Strider 1 & 2 on PS1…

  • Will get the PS3 version first, that’s for sure. Then I’ll debate if I will get it for PC or PS4, or both. I will probably get it on PC first.

  • As happy as I am for getting the rare PAL version of Strider 2 PS1 (came with Strider 1 with the correct label), I’m really happy for this! People should experience the first two games, since they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

Stider 2 is in my top 5 ps one games easy. barely got to play the first one.

      • You totally should play it. The PS1 version has unlimited continues, so even the difficult parts at the end shouldn’t hold you back.

  • shadowind

Is it me or is it weird that the PS4 version is cheaper than the PS3 version…

    • doubleO7

Not really. The PS3 version is also retail and comes bundled with the PSOne game. PS4 is download-only and doesn’t have the old game. You get more bang for your buck on PS3.

      • shadowind

Ah, I see! I’ll go with the retail version then.

  • Göran Isacson

Ooh, hope this applies to the West as well. Having both games would be a very nice incentive to try out the new one.

  • ZEROthefirst

Can’t wait for this game! While I still have my PS1 copy of Strider 2 with the PS1 version of the original Strider (with that glorious wrong label print Capcom somehow did for every copy) I do hope that the West gets this deal as well. These games are great and it’d be a shame if more people didn’t get the chance to experience them.

  • colorblindnightmare

The new game was already pretty enticing, but that’s too awesome for words. Capcom, for the love of the fans bring thoa wonderful bundle to the USA!
