New Disgaea 4 Return Video Rolls Out New Character Nagi Clockwork And Shows Rutile

By Spencer . November 27, 2013 . 11:39pm

Speaking of tanks, Nagi Clockwork is a new character in Disgaea 4 Return who uses a tank for some of her special moves. She appears in a Vita-only storyline where Fuka and Desco travel back to the past and find out what happened between Sister Artnia and Tyrant Valvatorez.

Rutile, a character made for Disgaea 3 Return, shows up in Disgaea 4 Return too. The game also has peta tier magic like that Neptune summon revealed in this trailer. Disgaea 4 Return comes out on January 30, 2014 for PlayStation Vita.

The Peta spells look like summons which is awesome.

  • Landale

When I read this, I was expecting Neptunia Neptune not Roman mythology Neptune. Pleasantly surprised at having my expectations not met here.

    • Anthony Birken

Oh god…the way I cried when I figured this out. (Read the article before watching the trailer…)

  • T-34-85 huh? I would have preferred a German tank, but a tank itself is cool.

  • Hound

    Panzer Vor!

  • Demeanor

Wow, the new stuff looks VERY good indeed.
Was nitouryuu (2-swords style) in D4 or it’s a new addition? Even tho I have D4 already (still gotta finish it) this is mighty tempting…
now playing Ys btw ^ ^

    • icecoffemix

Yes yes it was, you can dual magichange, giant magichange and dual giant magichange if you have the right Evil Area(s).

    • Shady Shariest

      Can you “Finish” a Disgaea…

      • Pdugna

Seems it goes as long as you enjoy the game…so its totally worth the price of $40

        • Shady Shariest

          I know… 400 hours spend on 1,2 and 4 ;_;
          (Al together, i mean :3)

  • Shady Shariest

Yas. Yas. Yas. I saw the as the first thing after i waking up today… Will need to get a vita. Asap!

  • ZekeFreek

I gonna guess they’ll time travel to Evil Academy at some point, hence explaining their cameos in D3:AoD.

  • biskmater

Oh, cool, I always liked Rutile.

  • Pdugna

*whew* The game has alot in it..wonder what the download size is on it? Can’t wait till summer maybe when its localized.

  • zferolie

Yay for Rutile! Also, looks like Artina is playable too!

Also… are they giving us new class skills? I saw a skill with a ninja naked in a bath… I don’t recall that in Disgaea 4

    • DurableTomb

I think that is the Female Ninja’s class skill from D3:Absence of Detention.

  • GameWinner

Please oh please, NISA. Announce an English date.

Neptune in Disgaea 4!?! Me wanty!
    *Watches video*
    *Sees Peta Cool skill*
    *Five seconds pass*
    Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh… ;_;

  • Nerroth

So, is Nisa-chan going to be a DLC character for this one, or is she included in the story proper?

    • Aesma

If it’s the same as Disgaea 3 AoD in Vita, then all DLC are included already in the game, so she should be included already.

  • Suriel Cruz

My fear is to see a trailer of Disgaea D2 for the PSVita with a new episodes featuring Defenders of Earth, Kurtis and Mid-Boss with new class jobs.

    Not gonna lie… I’ll be MAD PISS-OFF!

    • ivanchu77

I´m sure something like this is going to happen looking at the precedents, but it won´t happen until several years from now on.

      • Suriel Cruz

Yeah! I’m still hoping for a DLC scenario in Disgaea D2.

  • ivanchu77

Glad Rutile is in this game too, such a lovable character <3

I guess Rutile being in this game practically confirms Stella is going to be in it too.

  • Darkon the DemonLord

I cant be the only one who saw the cheat shop system at 2:40……. I must ready my sardines :P
