Well, PS3 already has the same TR games in the Tomb Raider Trilogy, and both K&Ls are utter crap. Having Just Cause in HD would be nice, though.

At least give the first K&L some credit. It was decent. The second game sh*t all over it.

      • yellowmage

Yes, but K&L2 was was so utterly horrendous that the game couldn’t contain it, making the original crap by mere association.

        • Altin

Cant argue with that. The best way to treat the series is just to forget that the second game ever existed.

one would think when playing the first kane and lynch it would be exciting having lynch as the main character in the sequel and maybe go into the head of the resident medicated psychopath in the game which would’ve been interesting but no instead we’re given a four hour game in which you have an entire level which was devoted to you trudging through the rain naked, and a crap ending.

Tomb Raider Anniversary is the bomb. It’s a really fun and long game that doesn’t need to rely on special effects to be compelling. Everyone should play it if given the chance.

It was probably the last real, “challenging” Tomb Raider which focused more on exploration and puzzles than just SHOOTING and killing enemies constantly. I liked the new TR reboot as well, but it just isn’t the same game anymore.. They dumbed down the gameplay a lot to appeal to more people.

      • Riseabovethesky

I have the exact same opinion. The reboot is hardly a bad game but I felt people were too eager to call it the way to go for future instalments. As I see it, the series mostly left behind a crucial part of what made it great in the first place in favor of a collection of setpieces.

      • I never got to play the old ones so the reboot was friggin’ awesome to me :P

Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver collections, please?
