Soul Sacrifice Delta Demo Coming To PSN On December 12

By Spencer . December 3, 2013 . 1:14am

Sony Computer Entertainment will release a demo for Soul Sacrifice Delta ahead of the game’s March 2014 release. The Soul Sacrifice Delta demo will let players fight new monsters from the Grimm faction. The trailer shows Snow White and Red Riding Hood. Cinderella, who is a centipede monster in the Soul Sacrifice universe, is also in the game.

The Soul Sacrifice Delta demo supports ad hoc and infrastructure multiplayer so you can play the game with other sorcerers over the internet. Look for it on Japan’s PlayStation Store on December 12.

Where’s Nick when ya need him? he’s supposed ta be fightin’ dese Wesen who are on da loose.

  • konsama

And i could be enjoying this and GE2 demo if it wasn’t for Sony’s EPIC idea on account management on Vita.

    • HassanJamal

Yeah, Sony should at least update it to allow 2 accounts on one vita. Also holy crap at that lazer attack in the trailer. The other attacks look dang grand too!

      • TheExile285

Seriously, 2 accounts is all I need. One for NA (main account) and one for Japan (for DD games and DLC)

        • artemisthemp

          3 actually.
          EU, US and Japan

        • HassanJamal

Yup….I miss my Asian account. Had SSD and other vita games in there :’C

    • ishyg

They have skipped on the idea that “personal” might be one person having 3 different regional accounts. Damn game certification boards having different classifications. If not for cultural issues I say games should have a global standardized classification agency, then we can have a global PSN or whatever you have.

  • tubers

LOL! Did the boss just deflect ranged spells? Nice! Ranged spells are pretty OP in the original SS.

  • Impressionnant

Is Delta an expansion, or just Soul Sacrifice with added content (like P4: Golden)? Somebody please spoonfeed me.

    • Bobby Jennings

They claim its a brand new game.

    • FlyingPony

Basically updated gameplay and graphic of Soul Sacrifice, and more weapons/spells and new monsters to fight.

It seems Ifune put quite a work towards Soul Sacrifice Delta.

      • Chido55

By the time he mentioned SSD, he also mentioned SS2.
More like, he’s totally into it. :D

  • LM009

i hope they make the offerings/lacrima system a bit different, end-game lacrima just seemed pretty useless when i think it could also be incorporated w/ boosting and fusing. also i just sit on mounds of offerings that never get used.

    • Chido55

True that. 13k in store now, that kinda forces me to sacrifice allies and use Black Rite even though I don’t really need to.

  • Chido55

    My body is beyond ready.

  • Kornelious

I say we have a better chance of getting this than Valhalla Knights 3 Gold.

    • TheExile285

This is a first party game so we damn well better.

  • TheExile285

Sony! Give us a Western release! Not switching accounts again for a SS demo lol.

Also, those new offerings look nice.

    • Takui Nanao

      agreed

  • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 禍津水木

I have a feeling this won’t release in March, NO one has it available for pre-order yet

  • Dragard Kaos

Holy fuck this looks good. I’m pretty hyped for this game.

  • artemisthemp

Guess my second Memory Card for Vita will finally get some use

  • IshimaruKaito

can we transfer our data over from the first game?

  • cloudcaelum

Is this including first game too? If not gonna buy SS.

  • Ric Vazquez

SO MUCH HYPE! Soul Sacrifice save data ready to be transfered to Delta!

  • Kumiko Akimoto

Time to back up my saves and games to my computer and then wait 5 minutes until that welcome video you can not skip comes on and then config, my psn and then refix my customization. Then download everything play the demo and repeat. Thanks sony, that why i hate you.

  • Vash bane

cool im very interested in the story.
(loved the first game but never went online…because I heard the monsters get stronger lol)

    • Daniel Lopez

If you play Monster Hunter this game is easy in terms of difficult from the Monsters. But the game is great and online is great as well even though it disconnect from time to time.

I wonder when that’ll get localized.
