Capcom is making all kinds of memorabilia for their 30th anniversary including a pair of Mega Man eyeglasses from Zoff.

On one side you have Mega Man shooting through a level and on the other Dr. Wily is pleading for mercy. The glasses include a case and a cleaning cloth with various robot masters. Zoff will sell these for 5,250 yen, but will cost more if you need corrective lenses.

Capcom also has Phoenix Wright, Ghosts’n Goblins, and Resident Evil glasses with Mega Man-esque character art.

i wish zoff had english branches

  • makubexnas

The only thing i want from Capcom is a Megaman game…….

    • The Watcher

Asking Capcom to make a Megaman game is like waiting for the Western Release of PSO2.

    • Kaihedgie

      Get over it

      • I agree, and we’re technically seeing the rebirth of MM with Mighty No.9. This really doesn’t deserve the downvotes its got.

        • Kaihedgie

Of course it does. Don’t you know? You’re not allowed to tell people to get over Mega Man, stop whining or anything of the sort. Or else they’re comin’ to getcha.

          • Godman

it’s pitiful really and it’s even more sad there are still people holding grudges when it hadn’t been THAT long for a Mega Man game

but hell the internet has its own rules, I mean no real life person can be that sad right?

          • Kaihedgie

Fans of other series have waited MUCH longer than a measly couple of years or so (unless you count XOver which case it’s barely even been a year). If I can wait for a new Battlefront game or Mortal Kombat game then so can they.

I hope these people aren’t around my age or else that would just make it all the more silly.

          • Göran Isacson

Man, Battlefront… it’s been WAY too long since the last entry in that franchise. Though would you count Mortal Kombat in that line-up, I mean that one DID get a release 2011 and they said they’re working on a sequel. Sure, they’re not cranking stuff out at SF4 speed, but that franchise still feels a bit more vibrant than Megaman atm.

          • Kaihedgie

It will be a very long time before a new Mortal Kombat game comes out if the tweets are to believe since it’s suppose to come out around the same time as the so-called movie they’re working on.

          • Göran Isacson

… They’re working on a movie? Man, I am so out of the MK-loop, first time I’ve heard about it. I knew there was some kind of web-show out there, but not a movie.

    • Kamen Rider Rayz

Sadly, Capcom still doesn’t even realize how badly we want a new Megaman game. My dream Megaman game is Megaman Musou game crowd combat-style like Sengoku BASARA and Warriors Orochi gameplay and that would make Capcom a LOT of profits for sure, really! Megaman: The Maverick Wars exclusively for PS3 and XBOX 360 with all characters from Megaman universe!

      • Kaihedgie

It’s been one whole year since you received any new games period and XOver just happened to be that kind of game. Hate it all you want, it was still a Mega Man game, and a crossover at that.

You act as if you’re going to die if you don’t get a game.

        • Kamen Rider Rayz

So you expecting me to like things that you like? You act as if you’re desperately want people to like things that you like. To tell you the truth, i HATE Megaman Xover, really. Hopefully you won’t mad at me when i said that. All in all, you sounds like you just can’t even accept people’s complain.

          • Kaihedgie

Who said I liked XOver? I specifically said “Whether you hate it or not, it’s still a Mega Man game.” Not a good game, but a game nonetheless.

            I can accept complaints.

What I don’t accept is the obnoxious repetition that the fanbase has when doing so.

You want to complain? Fine, whatever. There is such a thing called moderation however. If you’re going to keep repeating the same tired old complaints and begging over and over and over again, I’m going to have problems.

          • Kamen Rider Rayz

Because you sounds like as if you liked Xover and you were the one who mentioned Xover all of a sudden in the first place which i didn’t saw that coming. You don’t accept the obnoxious repetition that the fanbase has when doing so? Deal with it. There is nothing you can change that. So, you want me to give you more problems? Go take a rest then.

          • Kaihedgie

I mentioned it because people like to pretend it didn’t happen, that it wasn’t a real Mega Man game..

Even if they do make a “proper” Mega Man game, whose to say you or someone else won’t complain about still getting “ignored” just because it wasn’t a continuation of your favorite series? With a fandom as messy and divided as this, coupled with the constant whining and moaning it has been doing for the past few years, you really think making a Mega Man game at this point would do any good pleasing anyone?

          • Kamen Rider Rayz

Because the game was horrible as hell and most MM fans knows that. Also, Capcom knew that most of their fans wanted a new Megaman game on current gen consoles or next gen consoles NOT on mobile games. Too bad that the inevitable complains by the fans is getting much more chaotic than ever thanks to Capcom for cancelling Megaman Online (which most of us been looking forward to. Admit it.) and none other than the infamous Megaman Legends 3. How does that makes all of us fans feel? Of course, like i said, the inevitable massive amount of complains is getting much more bigger and bigger, logically. Its all about what the fans/consumers really want and satisfied the fans/customers at the same time.

Why not? Seriously? Would you be happy than ever if you see a new Megaman game exclusively on PS3 and XBOX 360? or PS4 and XBOX ONE?

          • Kaihedgie

It has been nearly a decade since a Mega Man game has ever actually appeared on home consoles. All it could do to thrive was either on handhelds or digital services.

Capcom didn’t cancel that game. NeoWiz, the developer that made the game, did. Capcom has nothing to do with its cancellation. There were other factors playing into it as well.

Legends 3 didn’t even make it past the greenlight stage. Hell, the demo doesn’t even have Volnutt in it. From what we did know of that project, Mega Man wasn’t even going to be the star.

” Its all about what the fans/consumers really want and satisfied the fans/customers at the same time.”

The Mega Man fanbase is a chimera when it comes to this however. No matter what Capcom does, people are going to whine. What if the game they make isn’t the one I want or the one you want? Cameos and digital downloads and even endorsements from the company themselves weren’t enough, so this won’t solve anything, either.

Why would I be happy about an exclusive? As you’ve said, what you like and what I like aren’t the same.

I am against the complaints because simply put, they come off across as immature and self-entitled. But above all, they annoy me to no end and make me ashamed to even be part of this fandom. Useless boycotts, death threats, online vandalism. I’m under the impression that there are very few actual adults in the fandom with a track record like this.

          • Kamen Rider Rayz

Fine~ I just gotta keep quiet until an actual console game comes out then. But i totally agree with you though. Im not being sarcastic, seriously. And I respect your opinions and points as well. :D

  • Zonic505

Missed a chance to make the AA ones based on AA5. Still, these are rather cool. Too bad I can’t import these….

  • British_Otaku

Zoff again? Just like E.X. Troopers.

They also collabrated on Sengoku Basara’s Samurai glasses:

Maybe, Megaman is coming up after these guys.

    • :V

      • eli-boo’s waifu

        ZOFF also collaborated with U-KISS~!

  • Those are neat, but I got Lasik Surgery. For those of you reading this that wear glasses or contacts, I hiiiiiiighly recommend it.

    • Nanaki

      Did it hurt? I’m curious.

      • Not at all. There is some weird feeling going on during the procedure, but no pain. Afterwards, you’ll feel some itchiness and some dryness and be tempted to rub your eyes. Obviously, you aren’t allowed to do that so your doctor will likely give you a regimen of three eye drops.

  • sakusakusakura_nyo

I like Emma Skye’s glasses in the Ace Attorney games. They have pink lenses.

  • Barrylocke89

On the Ghosts and Goblins glasses:

“Thank you for playing many times!”

Someone on the design team felt like being cheeky, it seems.

  • Caleb Montoya

I might have to import some of these…

  • I would by those Phoenix Wright glasses…
    MEGANEBU! (Sorry… I couldn’t resist *sigh*)
