Super Smash Bros. Director Smashes Rumor That Wii U & 3DS Game Is Coming In Spring

smash1 You may have heard a rumor that a representative from Nintendo in Germany said the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS would be released in spring 2014.

Masahiro Sakurai, director of the Super Smash Bros. series, went on Twitter to squash the rumor. Sakurai said there seems to be a rumor that the new Smash Bros. will be released in spring 2014, but this is incorrect. The official release date is sometime in 2014, Sakurai exclaimed.
