Fight The Frog Prince In Soul Sacrifice Delta

By Spencer . December 17, 2013 . 5:02pm

delta1a Famitsu magazine reports the Frog Prince will be a new enemy in Soul Sacrifice Delta. The Brothers Grimm creation will join demented versions of Snow White and the Three Little Pigs for the Vita hunting game.

Another new feature is Soul Sacrifice Delta creates random quests, which will be helpful for players that want to build their character up to level 100. You can also transfer save data from Soul Sacrifice into Delta. However, when you transfer data over your right arm level will be reset. To compensate for that, players will start with an item that increases the amount of experience you get. Raiments, Black Rites, offerings (10 of them) and Lacrima (up to 10,000) will carry over as well as what happened in the game when you cleared it.

When’s the demo for this come out again?

    • TheExile285
    • Kumiko Akimoto

It’s fun and well easy to play sorta if you’ve had the game before but It’d be nice if someone explained the new features

I think the main thing i was confused about was what was the point of the umm new type of sacrifice but it might be just a random sometimes it’ll kill sometimes times it’ll save sort of deal

          • Chido55

Mainly just to show the Grim’s judgment. The only different (and probably awesomely OPed from the look of it), Grim’s judgment increase your Healing stat.

          • Kumiko Akimoto

When i did it on the archfriend it ended up killing it but i think it increased both though maybe magusar a la happy sacrifice just had more power then me and grim girl

          • Chido55

I don’t get the both you refers to, you mean defend and magic? Because in the previous game, you can never directly increase Healing stat, it came together with Def.

          • Kumiko Akimoto

When i used the grim sacrifice on regular monster all i got were items that weren’t identified yet, i say that because when you see your “This is what you got” screen they turned into either light or dark items, and my stats weren’t gaining at all or if they were it was really low anyways so i sacrificed a archefiend that way and well magusar did his thing and i had that lady who looks like she’s dressed up for halloween so she and i were doing the grim sacrifice but it still ended up dying but i got stat boost for both save and kill
I was confused cause I saw something i used the grim sacrifice on continue to live
So I’m not sure if grim is just random or if sacrifice trumps over it since magusar was trying to sacrifice

  • TheExile285

Oh, random quest feature will be awesome if they implement it right.

    • AkiraScare

I wonder if its one of those random ones where it can be easy and then the nex t time you get into it its rape level….(0_0)

      • TrueDefault

Bah, I bet it spawns based on your current level.

  • AkiraScare

Love it when i get to play with demented version of my childhood memories (^_^)

  • Ben Sylvia

While not getting all our spells we grinded for is annoying, at least we get to keep all our white, black, and gold raiments.

  • Namuro

Random quest, eh? Sounds interesting. I wonder if it’s something along the line of the Guild Quests in MH4.

  • Raze

That means I don’t lose my gold dancer costume….

    • TheExile285

Ha, I didn’t have the patience to grind any gold outfits. I grinded out like 3 holy rainments and called it a day lol.

      • Raze

        Well me too…

More like I just use one costume…

And It’s the only costume that I have with black/white/gold colour…

        • Dexward

          I can’t even use mine when I’m rocking 1/99.

    • Chido55

Proud owner of Gold Hunter, Dancer, Intellectual, and Sand Dweller here <3
Grinding my way on Noble as we speak.

Yes I am a grinding maniac.

  • Romancer Ecclesia

Will the story be a continuation like P4A to P4AU? Or is it somewhat like the numerous iterations of SF4 that doesn’t really matter anyway?

    • Chido55

SSD shows Magusar again, and the girl representing Avalon is to be known as, Sortiara.

Its the BLAST TO THE PAST! part of the game.

  • My o My this is good to hear. I’ve always hated the frog prince story n now i can kill it with fire. MUUUHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAAA

  • tubers

    Random quests?

Doubt I’m gonna use that.. gonna get too
anxious if my spells don’t match up the situation.

  • MaximDualBlade

I wonder if the raiments include the colors too? Because if yes, then I will get at least 5 golden raiment. Well I will get them anyways and having them from the start with a fresh coat of paint would be cool.

About the offerings I don’t understand. You can choose only 10? Does that include all the copies of that offering? Seems reasonable because if they let you have all your offerings even at level 1 that is kinda overpowered.

And the last phrase “carry over as well as what happened in the game when you cleared it”. Does that mean we get special missions according to the endings of the original? Or maybe we just get some missions faster according to the ending?

I will take down that Frog with Dark Matter and get the Masamune offering. What? wrong game?

    • Dexward

What? You must have absolutely ground the game down to get freaking five golden raiments.

      • MaximDualBlade

I have done tons of pacts but I don’t even have a black or white raiment XD I didn’t know about that until recently and I exchanged raiments every mission. But like I said, I wish to get the gold version of at least 5 raiments for Delta. And with the game being on psplus, I’ve been helping newcomers and doing the gemini lvl 10 pacts so it’s fun

        • Dexward

Oh. I misread it. I thought you already had 5 golden raiments.

  • artemisthemp
