Let’s Just Throw All The 4 Heroes of Light Bosses Into Bravely Default, Shall We?

By Eugene . December 17, 2013 . 1:59pm

Sure, why not. Let’s just have them all in at this rate. Bravely Default is getting even more bosses from Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light. This time, you’ll be able to add Belphegor and Satan to the list of Asmodeus, Beelzebub and Lucifer. Because, well, why not? Our little town can’t get any more crowded after all.

Belphegor is recommended for parties of at least level 80, making him an even tougher opponent than Asmodeus, and will be available for download from the 17th to the 19th of December.

Meanwhile, Satan is a much easier beast to slay, and is recommended for parties of at least level 50, and will be here to burn from the 20th to the 23rd of December.

Bravely Default is out now on Nintendo 3DS in Europe, and will be available in the US February 7th.

    I’m loving these

    keep ‘em coming lol

  • Ganali Castillo

Why cant this reach the US faster. These updates are like my mom telling me what i’ll get for Christmas but cant get it till then.

If only we had to wait till Christmas….

  • D-Omen

Kinda jarring how they mix up stronger and weaker Nemesis. I was able to take Mammon out but Asmodeus is still way out of my league.

  • brian

I reaaaaalllllyyyyy hope all these are gonna be released as permanent downloads instead of temporary.
    If they aren’t, that’d suck.

  • kylehyde

At this rate Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light should be know as bravely zero.

    • InfectedAI

I just wish they had kept the multiplayer from the first game and maybe even expanded on it. It was nothing special really, but kinda cool.

  • FitzpatrickPhillips

This game is already brutal enough…I had to switch off hard mode. My pride still hurts.

    • brostar

I lost my pride long time ago. I just suck at games. At least I still enjoy it though.

    • Virevolte

I still resist. But yeah, lastly, even normal foes are somewhat a pain.

  • Jero

I wish the game had something like the towers of FF:4HoL. I haven’t played the game tho so maybe it has something like that I just don’t know.

  • Mnstrzero00

I thought I finished the 4 heroes of light. Wth? I haven’t seen any of these guys.

    • Exkaiser

They’re all major bosses that you have to fight a second time at the end of the game, so… Not sure how you would miss them!

  • Kornelious

Wait…Aren’t Satan and Lucifer the same person? (Supernatural says so anyway…)

    • Dianatos

Not if you play SMT! There, they oppose and hate each other.

    • Arcana Wiz

Well in catholic religion yes, Lucifer was his angel name, then he was banned with his followers and stripped of his angelic privileges and he after that was know as Satan, lord of hell.

    • NegativeZero

The common set of seven demon princes that you see in most fantasy stuff esp. Japanese comes from a list that was compiled in the 16th century by Peter Binsfield, where he associated each of the seven deadly sins with a demon ‘prince’. Satan is wrath or anger, and Lucifer is pride. You’ll also find that several of the other names (Beelzebub for example) are names associated with Satan in the same way.

There are other lists and classifications but Binsfield’s set seems to be the one that pops up in JRPGs etc. most often:

Not in Umineko as either, as Satan is the 3rd eldest while Lucifer is the oldest

  • Neophoton

    I’m still wondering why they thought the Nemesis distribution order was such a good idea… Level 10 -> 70 -> 25 -> 80 -> 50… I’ve only just hit the 60s as of recent.

  • Croix Zapp

Hmm…this game released in EU but coming in US next year right?
    anyone knows the reason?

    • Romored

      Nintendo knows the reason XD

  • Virevolte

At lvl70 in Hard Mode, I’m already not confident that I can beat the lvl50 boss… those things are going to rest in my village a little longer.
