Miku Never Wanted To Be A Singer… She Always Wanted To Be… A Clown

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd will of course come with the ability to change Miku and her friends’ modules. The latest batch of art shows off some real killer ones, including Regret, above, which has Miku in a simple, understated dress and red stockings.

And then there’s her Marionette outfit. As anyone can tell you, clowns are creepy. Marionettes are probably worse.

Chat Noir has her in a pure black sailor school uniform, the red sailor tie giving color contrast to the model. You can have this either with cat ears and a paw glove, or without.

Conflict is a re-made costume from the Project DIVA Extend game, featuring a Miku with a checkered black/white school outfit.

Strange Dark is another re-made costume, but this one’s for Len.

Blazing is a module for Meiko, giving her a very hip, modern design that immediately lets anyone see the fire within while keeping things very sexy in a peek-a-boo half here, half there flowy top.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd will be out on PlayStation 3 and Vita March 6th in Japan.

Clown Miku with make-up = The nightmares!

But with that put aside, I really like MEIKO’s outfit.

    • Demeanor

Could be worse… imagine a clown Mikudayo with makeup… stalking you in a dark alley… >_<

    • Just Tim

At least she’s not wanting to be Sweet Tooth or even collaborating with the Insane Clown Posse! :P

    Roland MacMiku.
    Ran Ran Ruuuuuuuuuuu ~~

  • TheExile285

Meiko’s outfit is really really REALLY nice!

    • Arrngrim

      Very much so!

  • FullMetalAlcopop

I never wanted to be a Siliconera commenter, I always wanted to be… a lumberjack!

  • The clown outfit makes me think of Kaede. ♥
    And I usually hate clowns.

I expected more of a French (or actual) reference for the Chat Noir though. Still pretty cute~.

    • Aerii

I’m fairly certain the Chat Noir outfit is just the girl from Envy Catwalk. (Love that song~).

      • Demeanor

Yep, Envy Cat Walk was already confirmed to be in a while ago, together with Karakuri Pierrot (hence the clown), Cantarella remake, Spica remake (yay!) and more.
Any news on new songs, everyone?
Daaamn I want something on par with PDA future tone for my brand new PS4rrrrrrr (under the xtree atm)!!!!

        • Aerii

Oh, so the clown’s from Karakuri Pierrot. I don’t know what songs are and aren’t in the game (since it’s not really my sort of thing). I had figured it was from Pierrot.

      • Oh, okay. I thought there might be a reference I was missing, but I wasn’t certain. Is there anything tying the name and outfit and Envy Catwalk together?

        • Aerii

Not as far as I can tell. The word “cat” is mentioned in the song, but that’s it besides the illustration.

          • Oh, huh. Heh, I suppose that’s fair enough.

  • Herok♞

Clowns don’t usually scare me but after seeing Miku clown I am never going to sleep again

  • I’m lovin’ it!… erm…. THAT ASIDE… I can’t wait for the game next year!

    Brunette Miku? Sweet :)

    • Risingrose

Brunette? Are you talking about MEIKO whose wearing the red outfit?

  • baha

I feel this is going to be the best Project Diva yet.

  • Spirit Macardi

The Japanese version of IT seems to have taken some liberties with the source material.

  • Lacie

I think the first and second costume has to do with the song Karakuri Pierrot:
