Compile Heart’s Bouncy New Vita Teaser Is Certainly Not Safe For Work

By Spencer . December 23, 2013 . 11:26pm

Are you at work or browsing in a public place? Come back later on because this teaser from Compile Heart is totally in appropriate. Record of Agarest War intimate scenes inappropriate. The short story is Compile Heart has a new PlayStation Vita game in the works which will be revealed in the December 26 issue of Dengeki PlayStation.

The long story is…

This game might be related to Monster Monpiece since the mascot character from Compile Heart’s Vita card game is on the teaser site.

OMG so much PLOT must get!!!

  • TheExile285

So the reveal is a day after Christmas. What a naughty Christmas present for Japan gamers.

    • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

They’re getting some nice new “Plots” for the new year.

All we get is to watch a ball drop lol

      • Kitestwinblades

Just what kind of plot physics did Compile Hearts Unleash on the holidays? It must be pretty bad when you can go to the official teaser site and video is down.

        And I missed it! (」゜ロ゜)」curses!

        • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

          Lots of jiggle lol

  • fyi1191

Agarest Senki series for PSVITA!! please.

  • MasterScrub

Man, for some weird reason I’m really interested in this game!

  • JustThisOne

What are these jiggly physics. xD I guess they all uhmm… have really strong heart beats. Like “you should see a doctor” strong heart beats.

But anyway, lookin’ forward to seeing what this really is! :>

  • Go2hell66

i watched that video purely because of the thumbnail

  • Afternoon Intergalactic

    That is…. unnatural

  • 40

Another giveaway is the music from the scratch game. MonMon was actually a pretty fun game. I’m excited…

  • landlock

That looks terrible but at least they’ll be loads of quality artwork iike there is for Monster Monpiece.

  • xAtKx

…the plot is strong in this one.

    • Servant BerserCAR

      …and there will a lot of backstories. ( ¬‿¬)

  • Renaldi Saputra

welp, but Monster Monpiece hasn’t been localized

  • Landale

Between the initial bit hinting Agarest and this new bit hinting Monster Monpiece, and the overall timing of this, I’m kind of hoping for a double announcement for both. We’ve been good enough to earn that this year, right?

    • Warboss Aohd

Record of Agarest War: Monster Monpiece Maybe?

instead of elves and such your protagonist can marry monsters?

…………….i get the feeling that if they read this, they’d actually roll with that.

  • http://www.gamerslive.fr/ Akuma

Pretty sure it’s a Monster Monpiece sequel, the song is the one played during the scratch phases :)

  • Shady Shariest

    “Compile Heart Trailer”
    “Not Safe For Work”
    What is this… Opposite-opposite day?
Edit; That trailer had some disturbing jiggle physics ._.

    Spider-Man enjoys NSFW material.

I like how all Spider-Man has to do is post something… anything… and he instantly gets a bunch of upvotes for it. Heh.

    What did i even watch

  • WyattEpp

    Because human physiology is hard.

  • Romancer Ecclesia

    inappropriate=will import.

  • Slickyslacker

Dear god, it’s like Needless or SMT: Overclocked. Not quite on the Senran Kagura level, but still.

    • mockturtle

I fail to see how this begins to approach SMT Overclocked.

  • TJF588

The music is telling me to feel one way, but the absurdity — compounded by that same music, and capped with that dissonant, ominous rumble — has me frozen in a disbelieving gawk. I…can’t. What. This is? I don’t even.

  • megaten666

My mind is full of PLOT elements!

  • cyberkinghardy

I hope this is an RPG, cause I’m not a fan of MOVING PICTURES.

    • DyLaN

It should be an card game RPG.

  • Juan Manuel M. Suárez

I loved how one of the characters was proficient enough with her body to jiggle only one of her breasts. Importing~.

  • Brandonmkii

Monster Monpiece was a ton of fun, fan service aside. Will definitely get a sequel.

  • Kumiko Akimoto

So in appropriate in a western way or in appropriate in an actual in appropriate like porn way?

    • Go2hell66

innappropriate as in a “partial nudity” kinda way

      • Kumiko Akimoto

you mean a few seconds of blurry scene with barely comprehensible scene of white on a body?

  • Kumiko Akimoto

Looks like they used live 2d so it and from the armor that lady was wearing it might be another monster monpiece or something like it

  • DanijoEX ♬ the Cosmic Owl

    Compile…You’ve just poked my curiosity….

    • 하세요

Or is it YOUR curiosity that poked them?

      Ba-dum-tss.

  • Guest

Looks like they’re gonna give the vita’s touch-screen a purpose. I like it when developers give an actual purpose for things (like Senran Kagura wit

  • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

The funny thing is I watched this at work on my phone lol.

Whatever this is, I must import this day 1 lol *_*

  • XypherCode

I’m sure I’ll enjoy the plot in this game.

  • Kaetsu

I’m laughing so hard right now. These kinds of games always make me burst out in laughter.

  • Alicemagic

Now that’s what I call an eye-catching article title.

  • Sentsuizan_93

    Wow. That’s…. That’s a lot of…… movement….
But back on the topic of games, I’d say there will at least be a sequel to Monster Monpiece and (hopefully) if there is another announcement, a new Agarest game. I could totally do with a new Agarest game.

  • Warren

I’m sorry ladies but plot sells…which is why this game will sell over 500,000 copies!

  • 하세요

That single boob rotating part had me laughing. If this is your cup of tea, you’ll have plenty to sip from.

    • Isaac Newton

This is not my cup of tea. But I can take this as my cup of milk! LOL

      • tubers

A cup of tea.. that goes with that “milk” lol

  • Mirai

I guess this is…. despair inducing?

  • almostautumn

It’s the same music as when you evolve cards too, and the jiggly breast close-ups are the exact same as in Monmon: definitly something Monmon related, probably a sequel—
Which I am 100% for as Monmon has been one of my favorite Vita games to date. Very simple, but very fun. They really botched up the single-player by not offering the +3 Mana cards until the very end (which required some chance/luck to get anyway), but in the end I overlooked that error and just still had a lot of fun. Hopefully this one is built more progressively.

  • ZekeFreek

Why do localization companies have this irrational fear of card-battle games? We missed out on MonsterMonpiece and we’re prolly not getting Zillions of Enemies X either.

What the fuck is wrong with card-battle games, guys?

    • TheExile285

you think we missed MM because it was a card game? Lol

      • ZekeFreek

I remember a lot of people asking Houk if NISA has any intention of releasing it and he said something to the effect of , “We don’t do card games. We just don’t”.

    • DyLaN

Just look at the comment section of every iOS card game rpg. Tht and the genre doesn’t seem popular in the west.

      • almostautumn

Yeah: it’s sort-of like VN’s. It’s just one of those design-types that isn’t appreciated via electronics. With VN’s everyone goes “I’d rather read a book,” and with card games everyone goes, “Well I’d rather actually play it with real-life people.”
I’m of that crowd too, although I did enjoy MM as a single-player experience. I’d be willing to give the card-genre more of a try, but I’m definitely of the western cultural consensus on this one. I naturally associate card games with getting together with friends or being very much involved competitively, and those social, real-life characteristics are what model card-games as so enjoyable for me. Videogames take that away though, and more often than not I just can’t be bothered giving it a shot because of that.

  • http://s932.photobucket.com/ usagi_san

    Give me… that… plot!

  • Bunzi

I’ve never loved being borderline gay more.

  • mojack411

I feel dumber after watching that minute and 14 seconds. Give me back my brain cells! It looks like a game where you just fondle women.

    • DyLaN

Except it isn’t. It is just part of the gameplay if MM is any indcation.

  • http://danierc-polloconpapas.tumblr.com/ Eduardo Rocha

    Getting this for the plot.

  • DyLaN

Their PLOT is so powerful it overwrites the law of physics XD

    Also dat seal ^w^

  • revenent hell

Woman bits DO NOT juggle like that……
But I would probably by it anyways.

  • golden izanagi

um wow that’s allot of plot lol.

    • http://vindictushots.tumblr.com/ Okuni-chan

      Bouncy plot

      ( Oh gawd I can’t believe I just–… *faints*)

  • Linhua

    … = =;; … e-easy there, Compile Heart… you’re starting to turn my Vita into a Pervert Machine…

  • Hinataharem

I would be terrified if my boobs moved on their own like that

  • Anthony Birken

I may be missing the theme but all I noticed is that she can jiggle one boob at a time…is that a muscle thing?

  • Lester Paredes

I don’t think Japanese game developers understand how boobs actually work…

    • Derek E Nay

Maybe not. But I am not complaining.

      • Lester Paredes

You should. Real boobs are much more fun. Therefore, realistically reacting fake boobs would be more fun than these… blobs? I can’t think of anything else to compare them to except amoebas.

        • Derek E Nay

I understand what you are saying. Thank you. But, lets just say that I am emotionally scared from my ex fiance. I have issues opening up again to someone.

          • Lester Paredes

Oh. Sorry. Ex-anything regarding a relationship can really mess with your head. Good luck and a speedy recovery. Also, talking to a professional does wonders. My wife and I did the same when we were having issues in our marriage and I do believe we came out better for talking to someone else about it.

  • Pheria

Has this been reposted anywhere? Looks like it’s been taken off YouTube.

I’d search, but it doesn’t have a name?

    EDIT: Think I found it.

  • ivanchu77

how do you know it´s crap? you have played it already?

  • TheExile285

    I can’t believe you care

  • Ladius

Have you read this on Hardcore Gaming? Because that was them putting their opinions as facts rather than providing an impartial, detailed outlook on IF and their games (which is disappointing, considering that site is wonderful and has lots of useful informations regarding this kind of small, lesser known teams), and the fact that some people insult a company doesn’t mean the rest of the market share their impression.

In fact, IF has always been supported by a niche of followers long before they started producing fanservice games (for more than ten years, they concentrated on strategy jrpg series like Spectral and Generation of Chaos), and if that wasn’t the case they would have closed down years ago instead of continuing to expand since the mid ’90s and becoming one of the largest niche publishers in Japan, with more than a hundred employees and lots of subsidiaries ranging from Compile Heart’s otaku games to Otomate’s visual novels aimed at female gamers.

They aren’t perfect by any mean, their games are made for wildly different audiences (compare Hakuoki and Neptunia, for instance) and their series have lots of room for improvement (even if some of them have already started to upgrade), but that doesn’t mean it makes sense to slam them as a whole.

  • Brandonmkii

Hey, Monster Monpiece was a ton of fun.

  • DyLaN

Fairy Fencer f says hi. Response to it have been fairly positive not to mention it sold pretty well IIRC.

I liked MS/Neptunia too and the fanservice ain’t the biggest reason.

  • 40

I was just about to make this point. Also, MonMon practically sold out its preorders. I didn’t preorder so I had to wait for the second run.

  • brostar

I still don’t understand the attraction to Compile heart. I can understand Idea factory. Generation of chaos looks interesting. But Neptunia? I played the first one and it’s god awful. I played a bit of V but the game isn’t that much better. Agarest? Painfully average. This to me is what Compile heart produces. Painfully average games. The only game they have yet to produce that I want is the new Madou Monogatari game. Sorcery Saga I think it’s called in the west. Even that I accept is already average from playing the Japanese demo. Their games don’t seem to be improving. It really feels like Compile is choosing quantity over quality. So they can spend less on their games and bring out more. And then this teaser trailer. Am I suppose to be aroused? Is it a parody? What is it? It’s just so weird. I’ll give Idea Factory the benefit of the doubt. But Complie Heart consistently puts out mediocre games that sell because of fan service and waifus.

If you like that. Fair enough. I accept your opinion. But I just just don’t get it. I’m sorry. I just don’t get it.

  • Ladius

No one is saying you have to “get it”, especially considering I’m not particularly interested in Monster Monpiece myself. It’s just a matter of doing some research before labeling something as a whole, or accepting other people have different tastes and there’s nothing wrong with that since we have hundreds of games to choose from.

Regarding the other CH games, while the first Neptunia obviously had issues, many of them were fixed in Mk2 (which was a huge improvements in terms of mechanics, and also made the game technically better), and Victory eliminated most of the fanservice mixing Mk2′s improvements with the first game’s carefree attitude. Agarest saw similar improvements with Zero and 2, even if it’s surely less unique than Neptunia in terms of premises.

That said, no one is saying they’re masterpieces or high budget games, because they aren’t. But, aside from Monpiece, they are also far from being 100% fanservice games considering Neptunia has greatly reduced that side in Victory and, if you played Agarest, you probably know the CG events are less than 1% of the game and your actual playtime will be spent in battles and traditional fantasy dialogues.

On a sidenote, Sorcery Saga is actually a collaboration between CH and Zerodiv, Class of Heroes’ developer, and it looks like a really nice roguelike.

  • almostautumn

Yeah dude: Brostar clearly is just reciting anti-Japanese sensibilities like other morons. If he’d actually PLAYED Monmon he’d know that the game was an extremely addictive, and refreshingly simple, card-game. Having sexy art-work and the touch-based evolution may be a bit pervy, but in the end the core content of Monmon was still a card-game that was well-built and very fun.

  • brostar

“anti-Japanese sensibilities”? That’d be pretty weird seeing as I’m a student of the Japanese language and I’m an avid importer of Japanese games. My favorite game is Trails in the Sky followed by Persona 4 and Chrono trigger. I bought a Japanese Sega Saturn to play the Sakura Taisen series and the fourth Tengai Makyou game.
Yeah, I just hate Japan, right?

  • almostautumn

Ah, I forgot: a bunch of pop-culture consumer products means someone admires and respects the place they come from.
    Right.

  • brostar

Why would I learn their language if I didn’t admire or respect their culture?

  • brostar

So you can’t argue against me so you make a snarky response. Cute.

  • TheExile285

Argue about what exactly? You are complaining because people are buying games that you don’t like and aren’t forced to buy yourself from a company you don’t like.

So yeah once again, I can’t believe you care.

  • brostar

Who said I care about peoples purchasing habits? I just can’t believe people are buying them. I don’t get it. It’s not like I wake up and night and cry myself back to sleep over it. Just an observation.
