imageNamco Bandai revealed their DLC plans for Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost and while they aren’t selling extra mecha, they do have other items to purchase.

Players can get different gauge designs for 100 yen ($1) a piece. Pilot costumes are 300 yen ($3) and different player navigation characters are 350 yen ($350). Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost will have some free DLC too, but details haven’t been revealed about the freebies.

    $350 doesn’t seem right haha.

  • Pdugna

Holy shit $350 bucks man that is gouging =P

    • $1392518

Conversion is wrong for that pricing, $1 = ¥100 is more or less (the other 2 are correct)
Most japanese game use that price model, so that 100g potion is really just a buck.

      • Pdugna

        *=P* emoticon

    • FivePointedTheStar

      It’s just a typo… I hope. >_>

  • Godmars

Someone forgot that 100 Yen = 100 cents or $1.

Plus or minus whatever the exchange rate currently is.

Still when you’re just talking about what should be menu options and redesigned pictures, double if not single digit KBs of data likely already on disc, $1-$3 is asking a bit much.

  • Brian Lee

Finally customizable navi’s are available, but at 350 yen each is a bit steep. NB knowing to cash in that demand from the fanbase.

    • Duo Maxwell

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t those unlockable on the arcade? Kinda sad that they go with DLC route for those.

      • Brian Lee

As mentioned above the custom stuff required the use of an arcade play card issued by NB that basically serves as a memory card of some sorts. You had to pay/buy a card, because of that im sure they’re unlockables when you reach certain ranks/levels

  • Kaihedgie

It’s likely that EX-S will be among the freebies like Hi-Nu was in the original

Also, something to note: the huds, navigators and alternate costumes were in the arcade version but I believe you needed a passport to use those

  • $1392518

Oh, no character DLC? Good. I cant stand the gouging of price for Jap Psn credit. …

  • Closet_Ninja

well if the DLC is good I’ll buy it, if its isn’t good i won’t =p best thing about DLC of this kind.
also wonder what the Freebies will be? hopefully its something good

  • KyoyaHibari

Good thing they aren’t adding more Mecha as DLC, I spent money on Extreme VS DLC already. Hopefully there won’t be another iteration for quite a while.

    • Kaihedgie

Actually they are. Not only will there be DLC for additional units, but there is even yet another iteration coming out in arcades in March called Maxi Boost.

  • eilegz

so expensive dlc :( but the good part its that no roster dlc which its a good thing
