Inazuma Eleven Trademark Registered In The U.S.

By Spencer . December 24, 2013 . 2:21am

image With help from Nintendo, Level-5 localized the Inazuma Eleven games for Europe. So far, none of those games have been released in North America, but maybe Level-5 is thinking about bringing Inazuma Eleven here.

Level-5 filed a trademark for Inazuma Eleven in the United States. for use with video games. This actually the second trademark for Inazuma Eleven. The first one, which was filed on January 6, 2010, has expired. The new trademark also has an additional provision for use with animated entertainment and online distribution. Hmm…

Now that the series is streaming on Hulu in the US I can see a digital-only test release happening, especially with the 3DS ports.

  • PABLO Rapetti Perez

Well Siliconera, you made my Christmas with this news. Call me a dreamer, but if the 3D trilogy made it to North America, I would die a happy man. Inazuma Eleven is the most addictive saga I ever played.

stand up stand up if you love football

  • 3PointDecoupage

    …Its a trap!
I feel like theyre probably just trying to keep the rights to the title or something, though I would the series a try.

Imported ages ago: your loss, L5NA.

    • Terraforce77

Same here, but I’m going to buy this copy to support the U.S. Release.

  • Dsvkb

I certainly hope this is true. I was just starting to give in and think about importing a European 3DS so I could play them.

  • Margaret Chan

Here’s to wishful thinking. I remember that they had also filed a trademark for Danball Senki? But nothing has come with that either… I hope they bring them over.. Beggars can’t be choosers and I’d rather have it (and dubbed or with the localized named) than not at all.
I really hope they do a 3DS compilation, that’d be great. But they have what, the first game + 2 (x2) + 3 (x3) for the DS and the 3rd is out in Europe as a 3DS version? Not to mention the other games in the main sequence (GO, GO:CS, GO: Galaxy)… and then the Strikers titles.

  • anthony apduhan

    Let the soccer domination commence!

  • Awesome. If the US were to get the compilation, which I hope you do, I would be fuming, just a little bit.

I hope that they’ll bring over the GO! series.

  • Tonton Ramos

Are you sure it’s safe to release it on US… Coz i hate ignorant bashers. Hope the american people’ will accept this…

P.S. If they need american voice actor/actresses they gotta need, Maile Flannagan, Tara Strong, Sarah Natochenny, Veronica Taylor, Johnny Yong Bosch, Dan Southworth, etc.

    • GH56734

Well, North America has Canada where football is popular like in the rest of the world (a safe bet, if you put it like that) and there’s also South America which has American-region 3DS (need I say more?), plus a certain huge country which is bound to have at least some people interested in unique RPGs and football games (or soccer, whatever they call it) since, well, series like Fifa and PES are still getting yearly releases and getting away with it and selling in the US.
With a solid enough marketing campaign, and attention given to the Americas outside the US as much as inside it, it could succeed.
Plus it would be interesting to see the Japan-only 3DS compilation released somewhere.

  • Khoko

    it’s habbening!!!!!

  • Learii

    finally is coming yay

  • Kalis Konig

Tackle you fears with all your courage! Please let something come of this. Bad enough the us misses out on nearly every anime themed 3ds game. The ie series is amazing. Loved the ds ones I imported.

  • ZnTxn

Just a trademark, but at least there’s hope!

  • Zero_Destiny

Another interesting little tidbit to note is that the anime has recently come out in North America via Arait Multimedia through Hulu. Since it is Arait Multimedia they brought both the Español and British dubs. The first 26 episodes (season 1) of ether dub are out now.

  • Tsurugi

Danball Senki Wars, Inazuma Eleven 1-2-3 and all Inazuma Eleven GO! 3DS games for USA!!

  • It’d be really nice to finally play the games; they could give us that nice 3DS port. I just hope they keep all the names; even Beyblade does. :/

    • Guest

Dunno, if the Hulu broadcast it’s anything to go by, they are going to use the European localization: so we’ll get Mark Evans and Arion Sherwind. But that’s OK, I guess, a small price to get the games.

Also I just checked it out on Hulu and I was greeted to a 3DS commercial! I hope it’s not a coincidence! :D

      • kylehyde

Too bad that is very unlikely that they are going to use the latin american version wich use the real names in almost all the character (with the exception of Endo’s first name ’cause in spanish (mainly in Mexico) it sounds like a slang word)

        • Hum. It would make more sense for us to use the Latin American version in my mind, but yeah, it is sadly unlikely. (Interesting about Endou’s name.)

          • Guest

Yeah an odd cacophony issue, he went from Mamoru to Satoru. Something similar happened with Kagome from Inuyasha, she is simply known as Aome.

          • Huh. That’s real curious and interesting.

      • Ahhh, that sucks! But yeah, at the end of the day, I just want the games. >u<

        Ohh, I hope not~!

  • Ric Vazquez

    Bring us the games already!

  • Will Jay

I really really hope this means we’ll be getting them soon, even if just on the eShop. The Hulu broadcast brings hope too.
