Kadokawa Games is turning the anime series Golden Time into a video game. Golden Time: Vivid Memories has an original story with 20 different endings and animated 2D artwork. While this is a visual novel, the game also has regular games as mini-games.

The video has a teaser of Sadou Defender a defense game where you play as Banri, Nijigen or Mitsuo and defend yourself from an onslaught of tea ceremony members. Sao and Shi show up as bosses. You can also catch a glimpse of a run and slash game plus Golden Time’s take on Bust a Move.

Golden Time: Vivid Memories comes out for PlayStation Vita on March 27, 2014.

sigh. hope the quality of the story will be intact. so much stuff was cut out during the transition from LN to anime already =/

    • I didn’t know it was originally a VN, but despite enjoying it overall I can see a few elements being lost.
Towards the end of the series I felt like I was the third wheel in a date…

It wasn’t and no one said it was; LN != VN.

        • Whoops, force of habit.
