ToeJam & Earl 3 For Dreamcast Unofficially Released

By Spencer . December 27, 2013 . 11:00am

image While ToeJam & Earl 3 was released on Xbox, it was originally a Dreamcast game. The lost Dreamcast version has been found and released thanks to a member on the Assembler Games forum.

User ZakhooiTM explains, the ToeJam & Earl 3 beta was discovered on a hard drive of a Dreamcast developer kit. The Dreamcast version is said to be more like the original ToeJam & Earl for the Genesis. If you do try this expect it to be buggy. This is an incomplete game after all, but it’s neat to see what could have been perhaps if the Dreamcast stuck around longer.

Now that is cool. I wonder what other unreleased games are out there, just collecting dust on a hard drive.

Why 5 people disliked? Have you guys ever had the curiosity to know why japanese testers made Capcom stop the development by your own hands? C’mon!

Ah, the Dreamcast…so underrated. Quite possibly, one of my favorite systems.

It’s because Yoshitori Ono took over development, in his effort to destroy our childhoods.
