This little clip made for Japan recaps PlayStation 4 launches from last year to build up hype for the February 22 launch. Japan is the last region to get the system, but there will be a different selection of games. Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Complete Edition, Yakuza: Restoration, Dream C Club: Host Girls on Stage, and Strider will be available on top of the US lineup.

Dang! I was gonna post my similar joke from another website, but you beat me to it! XD

  • Bad marketing? Why would they let their homeland know everyone on earth got the console before them?

    • Demeanor

Personally I think it’s brilliant. You could also say it took more time to properly prepare for the homeland, you know, saving the best for last. Also take into account Japan’s love of handhelds and the fact that there is no rush to compete with MS over there. I’m mighty curious to see sales figure for the region. :)

more like they sure to win against Xbox in japan-> so they are not in hurry

It’s actually because of many factors, among others :
        1. Home console is declining in Japan
        2. Launch title that appeal to japanese are not ready until that date
        3. Diverting early stocks for more demanding country which is a brilliant move from Sony

More like great marketing. This is one of the best decisions Sony has made in recent years. See: all the reasons listed by others.

I saw that ad as: “Yup, you’re last” :P
But the message that PS4 has been successful everywhere is probably what they intended, most people will get it.

And those arrows at the end remind me of this x)
