Magi: The Kingdom of Magic is the second game based on the Magi anime series. This Nintendo 3DS game has the Sinbad arc and Magnostadt arcs in it. Players will also be able to play through a parallel world story where you can create your own party. This mode will have original conversations between characters.

Magi: The Kingdom of Magic is an action RPG where you can bring three different characters into a dungeon. Aladdin, Alibaba, Morgiana, Hakuryuu Ren (DLC in the first game, but a regular character now), Titus Alexius, Yamraiha, Sharrkan, Mu Alexius, and Ithnan. You can also bring one support character like Drakon, Pisti or Spartos.

Namco Bandai has their second Magi action RPG scheduled for release on February 13.

Come to the west please !! I really love the anime

    • Renaldi Saputra

      sorry, this is namco bandai

    • brostar

Sorry but most games based off anime don’t get localized unless they’re some installment in a fighter game based off a crappy shonen anime.

      • TheGameTagerZ

Feel like you’re hinting naruto. There are a couple of anime fighters that never made it here.

        • Pdugna

I hate naruto as a full story but shit did Cryberconnect do a great job making the Naruto games

      • Renaldi Saputra

        literally based on Jump series

    • Ghostlygengar

      Yea,it’s too bad

  • Shady Shariest

Magi is a series i feel like i should get into, it looks kinda cool.

    • Pdugna

The animation is really good and the art is nice so that is a plus if you ever get into it. That and you can find the series on sites like CR.

        Is there a manga?
(Fine either way, but always prefer tha manga :3)

        • Pdugna

Yeah there is one, I forget who has the license for it though.

          • Pyrotek85

            Viz has it

        • British_Otaku

VIZ translated about 3 volumes (read two of em) of the manga if you need your physical and official fix, but the manga in Japan around 20 volumes or so and I bet the anime is as well. With all due respect to VIZ, Kodansha’s Attack on Titan is coming much faster and was similarly a hit in the last two years.

Magi : adding PLOT into Aladdin story.

      • LustEnvy

        I c whut u did thar

    • LustEnvy

It starts off slow, but it has a sort of Full Metal Alchemist type vibe to it. If you love FMA, you’ll probably enjoy Magi. It’s undoubtedly different, but it has a similarity in tone and characters.

The more and more the series progresses, the better and more action-packed it gets.

You should. The first season was awesome. It also currently being dubbed. Season 2 is still going with episode 14 just aired.

It starts out like watching old school bible animation stories. The plot is real mature dealing with harsh subject matter. Near the end and in season 2 it turns into a full on Shonen! Worth getting into in my opinion!

      • Miss_Madness

Near the end of season 1, they decided to focus on Alibaba and rewrote most of what happened in those part. I couldn’t even see the reason why either. The other thing is that the pacing is way to fast, so they try to condense a lot and leave character development and interaction to the way side.

They’re gotten back to more mature political plot for season 2 though. The pacing is still too fast.

    • lunarsoul01

The second season of this show has awesome pacing, you never feel like they cheated you for 21 mins like other anime’s.

Is Japan finally coming around to making games for their popular anime series! May be time to import that 3DS finally! Love the manga, anime, and would love a game based on it!

    • Solomon_Kano

If it’s a Magi game you were waiting for, there’s already one on 3DS that covers the first part of the anime.

  • Solomon_Kano

I hope this performs better than the first. I was actually surprised by how poorly that did.

Wish they’d give Magi a higher budget. Guess that’s hard in this era.
