Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd Getting A PS3 Controller With Rin & Len

By Spencer . January 17, 2014 . 1:10am

If you want to play Hatsune Miku: Project Diva games with the oversized arcade gamepad at home, Hori has something for you. They’re going to release a Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd controller with Kagamine Rin & Len artwork on March 6 for 9,800 yen ($94).

The controller has giant directional and face buttons similar to the arcade controller. L1, L2, Select, PS Button, Start, R2, and R1 are the tiny yellow buttons on top. The device is 370 mm x 225 mm x 60 mm, weighs 2,000 grams, and has a three meter USB cable. Hori also included a Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F cleaning cloth with the controller.

    Now if they only made it in arcade-style size!

    I already have the giant arcade sized one, so I really have no use for this at all.

    …but it has Rin on it and she’s my favorite. Damn you Hori! ;n;

      I’m wondering how/if they’ll do an arcade one for this game seeing as it requires multi-touch. Pretty sure the touch pad on the previous one is only single touch. I have one, and it seems like it emulates an analog stick. Hmm.

      • I am the only one who believes that the touch part is only for PS Vita? D: That mini arcade don’t have a touch-thing, is the same as the arcade for F and this is for F 2nd!

          The arcade controller for PDF has a touch pad. I own it.

          • I know XD I’m talking about The mini Arcade in this article, this is the same as the mini-arcade from F (I own one),those doens’t have a touch feature and that makes me conclude that this feature is gonna be only for PSV, because what is the point of selling a controller that gives the user a limited gameplay experience?

    Looks like a colorful version of the hitbox the FGC wasn’t too pleased with.

    Can’t wait to play Tekken on it…

    Already have the PDF arcade controller and mini controller. Since Rin is my favorite I’ll have to get this mini controller too.

    If this one is like the first one they put out, it’s pretty mod friendly. The buttons all use quick disconnects and you can replace the microswitches (with either sanwa or seimitsu) in the event of failure.

    I can’t wait to play Street Fighter with it!
