    Uh oh

  • Does anyone have an idea of how this game will play?

    • Godmars

A third person shooter with space combat.

    • KnifeAndFork

If you ever played Zeonic Front (PS2), Gundam Crossfire (PS3), Gundam 0081 Chronicle (PS3), and Gundam Battle Operation (free to play freemium game for JPN PS3 PSN), it will play kind of like those except where with Zeonic Front and Gundam Crossfire and Gundam 0081 Chronicle also had you with three man teams and tactical command system, this time around, you can manually switch between any of the three Gundams in your team on the battlefield kinda like Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll rpg can do, making for more hands on tactical strategic area battles.

This is what I would like to see happen for a third Super Robot Wars Scramble Commander game as I’m not really a fan of slow RTS

    • Nate

There is a trailer out there.

  • Godmars

So we’re going to see a Gundam take a bite out of a beam saber or, more likely, a heat axe.

  • neocatzon Let’s see.. Looks good to me.

Still waiting for Ark Performance to do any writing for gundam games, their The Plot to Assassinate Gihren Zabi is just that good.

Also, that ms on top.. which one has an eye like that? GM variant?

    • Kaihedgie

Remember: Tekken Blood Vengeance. The movie that was suppose to be for everyone, especially for non-Tekken fans, but just ended up confusing the entire audience, and the title itself being an “Artifact Title” up until the last 15 minutes

      • neocatzon

I admit I never saw the movie, but from what you say Vengeance were made to be different from usual Tekken. They must appeal wider audience than what the series already had. In one perspective they failed.

Gundam series has numerous spinoffs by numerous authors. Each with their unique charm. By that alone, it’s safe to assume the challenge is not as high as Vengeance.

In their portfolio, they have quite a hand on popular series plus spinoffs including Eureka Seven’s. Looking at those, I believe they’re experienced with this kind of work. So I think the story is not doomed.

Just a bit of my personal opinion, New Wave and New Vision had a decent story that didn’t break the universe. Centzon Hitcher was also an enjoyable extra for Ergo Proxy.

        • Kaihedgie

Well, Side Story is just that, a side story. It’s its own story without having to interfere with already established canon or characters.

Blood Vengeance on the other hand deals with the bigger threats of the series, namely that of the Mishima family

    • Exkaiser

Looks like Blue Destiny Unit 1’s eyes, but it’s missing the top camera…

      A GM Sniper, maybe?

      • neocatzon

Blue destiny I think, the center part is really similar. Top camera can be hidden inside the cloth. Can’t find any gm sniper’s variants with similar eye silhouette.

Bamco, Announce SD Gundam G Generation Spirits 2 and this year will be fucking epic with Full Boost, SRT Z-3-I and Z-3-II, Gundam Missing Link and the new SD Gundam.

    • KnifeAndFork

Where’s the info for SD Gundam…first tine hearing about that. And what system will it be for and will it still have inferior animation?

      • 永次

Sadly, 0 info about the new SD Gundam, that’s why I need an Announce of a game like Spirits 2, Spirits was the best SD Gundam game, with a lot of voice (full voice and like 65 voice quotes for combat like SRT), an high difficult, good animations, good story mode with 20 stories… I need Spirits 2.

  • Nate

Maybe the Zeon will be able to win this time

    • Kaihedgie

It’s a side story, not an alternate take. Of course Zeon will lose.

Considering how they handle mobile suit production, it’s amazing how they haven’t lost much earlier

      • Bigabu Beaze

But Zeon could will this. Like they win in these small string of battles and make bases on the Earth. Zeon had alot of land on the Earth as their territory.

        • Kaihedgie

Land that they had to give up as they had to consolidate their forces in space for the final battle at A Baoa Q. They weren’t exactly doing a banged-up job on Earth considering their efforts being undermined by rogue Zeon pilots and commanders like Ghinias and Nimbus, who were far more obsessed with power than winning the war, even to the point of killing their own men. Their Apsalus project – their ace in the hole – failed spectacularly thrice in a row, no less, and by the most unlikely of circumstances

There is also to consider the failure to capture/destroy Jaburo, which ended up a massive loss to Zeon’s ground forces, plus the loss of their own base in Odessa, which was solely possible for their presence on Earth.

          • Bigabu Beaze

Yeah, thats true. Does this game lead up to or have the A Baoa Q battle in it?

          • Kaihedgie

It covers all of the One Year War, so yeah

        • neocatzon

On political side Zeon are losing too. Zabi family are going down one by one. After all Zeon unification is not accepted by all colony people. Gihren may take control on things with Hitler-like influence but there’s even a crack within Zabi family. A Baoa Qu literally a final fortress of Zeon (under Gihren’s ambition). Plus earth side story that @Kaihedge said. Zeon are losing beyond recovery.

Also, the one who actually rule the world in UC is Anaheim Electronics. Why? There’s a hint all over the series. They produces MS for either side. Gundam UC shows this power blatantly.

          • Bigabu Beaze

I should really brush up on my UC history.

  • 愛憎

I remember Blood Vengeance. Let me think of something good from that movie that they could put in this story… hmmm… hmm…

There were many shots with a panda in them! Look forward to lots of pandas in the new Gundam game!

    • WhyWai

they could use some xiaoyu fanservicing in it
