Taito’s iOS rhythm game Groove Coaster is still going strong, and has brought word that the arcade version of the game will be getting an update.

This update will bring in five different games’ music. They are: BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, arcade shooter Gunslinger Stratos, IA the Vocaloid, Tekuteku Beat, and Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm AKA Legend of Raven.

Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma will have its opening theme included, while Gunslinger Stratos will include “multiple” songs. The additional songs from Ia already in the iOS version from last year will be added to the arcade version as well.

Is it bad that I want to play this SOLELY because of Blue Sanction?

I play the game solely for SEE THE LIGHTS feat. IA, so no, probably not.

This is probably Groove Coaster Zero? The original GC was good, but they abandoned it long ago. GCZ is really getting some nice stuff lately. I hope there are more tracks in the future from Masayoshi Minoshima; I’m a big fan of his project Alstroemeria Records. Daisuke Ishiwatari (Blazblue) would be an awesome addition. Some more TeddyLoid would be good too. It’s a good time to play Groove Coaster Zero!
