Over 5.3 Million PlayStation 4 Consoles Have Been Sold Worldwide

imageJust ahead of the PlayStation 4’s launch in Japan, Sony Computer Entertainment announced that PlayStation 4 sales have exceeded 5.3 million units worldwide. The last hardware number Sony released was during CES in January where sales were 4.2 million consoles.

PlayStation 4 launches in Japan on Thursday and a code to download Knack is a bonus for the region. Sony and Konami also have a limited edition Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes PlayStation 4 prepared for March too.
