By Spencer . February 17, 2014 . 11:54pm

bulletsBullet Soul: Infinite Burst is the second shooter from Mages, the makers of Phantom Breaker. The game comes out on April 24 for 5,800 yen.

If you pick up the 8,800 yen limited edition you’ll get a soundtrack CD with music arranged by Jake Kaufman, a special issue of Famitsu Xbox 360 with interviews from the Bullet Soul team, and a code to download the original Bullet Soul from Xbox Live.

Bullet Soul was region free. No word if Bullet Soul: Infinite Burst is, though.

why won’t they comment on it being RF?

We don’t know for sure, so this does mean its treated as a separate game (Update/Semi-Sequel/Etc.), I guess, considering getting the LE let’s you download (on a code) the digital version of the 1st Bullet Soul. (Of course though, you need a JP XBL account for that, although, Games on Demand titles are very pushy about their IP/Region locks for certain games though, probably for this one. Even though the 1st game’s region free in disk form, but dunno for On Demand version.)

GoD version of Bullet Soul is actually one of the few region free titles so you shouldn’t have a problem downloading the original game. (granted you have to have japanese account)
