How Natural Doctrine Syncs Up On PS3, PS4, And Vita

By Spencer . February 17, 2014 . 12:38am

Natural Doctrine from Kadokawa Games will launch on three systems PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4. The strategy RPG supports cross play across all three systems. Players can start a multiplayer mission either online or through ad hoc play. Multiplayer mode lets use different units like the Gurion sub-race monster. Ad hoc battles on PlayStation Vita are more casual since results are not saved even if your team is annihilated. Kadokawa Games says ad hoc battles are kind of like practice battles.

Natural Doctrine also supports cross saves. Data is uploaded to PSN and you can continue your game on any platform. Of course, you need to purchase separate copies of Natural Doctrine if you want to play it on say PS3 and PS4. Natural Doctrine is slated for release on March 19.

Very interesting. Given the PS3/PS4/PSV release I hope in a localization. We need more sober looking japanese games.

Sure is nice that Japanese devs have finally figured out the wondrous ’80s technique of “serialising binary data”.

  • Adam Zaorski

Looking good. I hope they’ll release it in EU, or at least US so I can import.

Please be as close to a VK game is. Oh and get localized please.

The director actually mentioned they’d be releasing a pack containing all 3 version of the game for easy purchase and cross-play in one of the interview.

  • Gimme Gimme, has them VC vibes to it.
