Aksys will release the second downloadable episode for Muramasa Rebirth on February 25 in North America and February 26 in Europe. Cleverly titled A Cause to Daikon For, this Genroku Legends story follows a farmer who joins a rebellion against Governor Hatono’s unfair taxes. Speaking with Siliconera, producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto said this Muramasa Rebirth character was inspired by Harvest Moon.

Each character in Genroku Legends has their own fighting style. Being a farmer, Gonbe uses tools like a hoe and a sickle. He’s also joined by his ghostly wife that can lift him places and other famer friends. Vanillaware also made new bosses for A Cause to Daikon For and you can also fight a couple of bosses from Muramasa Rebirth with Gonbe.
