Just the other day, we brought news that Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Tactics characters Ramza and Agrias would be making appearing in Lord of Vermilion III. It should be no surprise, then, that there’s a tie-up with the far more recent Drakengard 3 as well.

Both flower-power Intoner Zero and her trusty dragon Mikhail will be in Lord of Vermillion III, says a report at Famitsu.

Is anyone keeping score of how many crossovers this game has already? Secret of Mana 2, Romancing SaGA, Final Fantasy (Does Tactics count as a separate entry?), A Certain Magical Index, A Certain Scientific Railgun… Theoretically you could make an entire army out of just crossover cards…

Drakengard 3 will be available in North America on May 20th.

Why don’t they make a console version and bring the arcade game to the states in nearby Dave n Busters….

    • Folk Hellfang

      Agreed.

  • Rayhan PromisedGallery

Oh, they didn’t redesign the character like they did with Drakengard 1 cast

Take a look at Sephiro… errr.. i mean Caim

Zero doesn’t need a redesign; she’s gorgeous without it.

Though in response to that pic; I admit, I honestly liked the Arioch redesign for LoV. But that was it, not sure what happened with Leonard’s design though.

Something tells me the next guest won’t be Mariko Hashimoto

But seriously, the SE owned guests aren’t THAT weird (Konami does it plenty. Tactical Espionage Agent and Boss Rush anyone?), but the raildex cards are odd.

The Lord of Vermillion series must be the child of some sort of demon. The fusion of my two great nerd loves, video games and card games, is like the sirens calling me to a metaphorical grave.

I swear console/handheld versions of this game would be awesome.
