  • “…and you won’t have rupee for these.”
I’ve been looking at that line for 5 minutes now and I still can’t make sense of the first sentence of this article…

      Maybe that’s a “…won’t have to pay rupees…”

I think I want this localized than any other game in Japan right now.

  • I’d love to play this. I wish they’d bring it to North America

They did ONCE on PS2 and I guess it didn’t do well enough for them to bother continuing/consider trying again. A shame really, fun colorful rhythm game.

      • I played an arcade version in Austin and it was stupid fun slamming a drum to Britney Spears songs.

  • I hope Namco gives this another chance in the West. Shame Wii U is region locked.

If they wanted to, they would’ve done so eons ago. If anything, the 3DS version was our last hope. It would’ve made more sense as that was the best selling system to test waters on.

I think I played the PS2 version of Taiko Drum Master in Tokyo’s Sony building years ago. It was really fun, but I wish in this day and age, they would make a 3DS version and port it over to the West. Taiko Drum Master can literally match well with the 3DS capabilities. ^_^

Taiko no Tatsujin: Chibi Dragon to Fushigi na Orb is for 3DS and it’s really fun. First to introduce an HD interface so it was a huge upgrade from the other ones. This came out back in…2012, so that’s pretty much dead for coming to the West.
