Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call Has Songs From The Romancing SaGa Series

By Spencer . March 16, 2014 . 9:56pm

In addition to Final Fantasy tunes, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call also has songs from the Romancing SaGa series for players to tap to. The "Four Demon Nobles Battle 1" from Romancing SaGa 3 and "The Sewers" from Romancing SaGa are confirmed for the Nintendo 3DS music game. Maybe Albert can pop in as a guest character.

Seeing SaGa and Final Fantasy cross paths reminds me of the Final Fantasy Legend series for Game Boy, which was actually the original SaGa games rebranded with the Final Fantasy namesake for the West. It’s like we’ve come around full circle.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call comes out on April 24 in Japan.

As long as we’re putting in songs from Romancing Saga, how about “Let it Begin”?

300 songs, all of which aren’t Liberi Fatali.

  • Foryth

Nice! I’m even more hyped than before. :3

Now I really hope this is localized lol

    • Solomon_Kano

Ha. I was just about to shoot this by you on Twitter lol.

I can’t imagine SE passing on localizing this, unless the first one bombed over here.

      • MrSirFeatherFang

Haha, thanks. If I recall correctly, I think it was mentioned in that last KH survey, so maybe? lol

        • Solomon_Kano

Oh, yea. It was in there. Hopefully, we can take that as a good sign.

      • Pyrofrost

Hey Solomon, I just opened up mine a little while back, can we add each other?

I think sales were just slow. Launch sales weren’t the highest at all, but over time it sold. I would be shocked if we didn’t get it, but I’m not taking those odds right now >_> Going to import for now. Hell, I’ll buy the damn game twice if I have to.

        • Solomon_Kano

With this style of game, I wouldn’t mind importing if we didn’t get it… well, I wouldn’t, were it not for region-lock orz

I don’t want enough JP 3DS games to justify owning a JP 3DS, so hopefully this doesn’t go the way of all things Dragon Quest lol.

I don’t blame ya. I was the same way when contemplating EX Troopers (back when it was initially announced as 3DS only), then Monster Hunter 4 happened…that pretty much sealed the deal. I find myself using it more than my NA one ._.’

With my love for rhythm games (Project Mirai and Taiko no Tatsujin), I have a hefty amount of titles to justify my purchase, with future ones to come. That and the J-eShop is loaded with goodies that barely require any Japanese knowledge.

          • Solomon_Kano

Heh. I’m sure MH probably sealed the deal for a lot of folks. Well, good thing you got your money’s worth out of it in the end.

    • Pyrofrost

Haha, you and me both! I can’t wait to play this game ^_^

    Asdfghjkl;
    This is fabulous.
    So fabulous.
SE better get some localizing information out soon.

    *Fingers crossed*

Four Demon Nobles 1? I’m suddenly WAY more interested in this game than before now. Kenji Ito’s music is top-notch, and that’s one of my favorite songs by him.

  • Göran Isacson

Kind of curious if all this is leading up to something like a new SaGa game, or if it’s basically just a nice little nod that won’t really go anywhere but cameo-town…

  • Yan Zhao

I just want the actual battle theme and boss battle theme from Romancing SaGa 3.
