Class Of Heroes 2G Heads To PS3 This Spring On PSN

By Spencer . March 26, 2014 . 1:56am

Gaijinworks and MonkeyPaw Games will release Class of Heroes 2G for PlayStation 3 soon. The dungeon crawler is scheduled to come out in spring 2014 and will cost $34.99 as a PlayStation Network download.

Class of Heroes 2G is a port of the PlayStation 3 game with a new dual screen feature just for the Western release. Players can use either a PSP or Vita to control Class of Heroes 2G and the second screen will show information like stats and a map. The opening theme song from the PSP version and Japanese opening are included with Class of Heroes 2G.

Gaijinworks is also looking into creating a limited edition physical copy just like they did with Class of Heroes 2. At least 7,000 units need to be pre-sold to greenlight the Blu-ray version which will include a reversible cover, color manual, and serial numbered hologram for $39.99 plus $4 shipping. If you’re keen on getting Class of Heroes 2G on disc you can sign up for the presale here.

I still haven’t beaten Class of Heroes 2 yet, but it is a cool game.

I haven’t even opened my copies of Class of Heroes 1 or 2. Still put down my presales. Really should fire up the Vita.

Well I’m already signed up for the pre-sale so hopefully it will make it’s deadline :) I never played a game in the series before but this looks pretty interesting.

Can I transfer my PSP data to play my existing characters on the big screen? If so, then definitely getting this!

Still waiting for the Europeran PSP release… I just hope they manage to get that PS3 version out before the summer, since Vic said something about releasing the European PSP version at the same time with it. Really don’t fancy a near year delay from the US release, but at least they are still planning to bring it over here.

Unlike certain companies. I’m still bitter about Yggdra Union and all the other Atlus’s PSP games never being brought to European PSN. 505 Games borught over Riviera, but they have been silent in case of localized JRPGs for years now. Really pisses me off. Should have just made an US account in the first place, wouldn’t be any need to feel like having clearly inferior selection of games.

Even though I like dungeon crawlers, I don’t really want to buy CoH2 again. If this was CoH3, I’d be all over it…

I don’t know….. I hate it when games are “remade” like this when I still have the first one I haven’t yet played….
    Oh, what to do…

  • Signed. Partly did it for the completion in me, but also I think the upgrade is a good way to experience the game. GW really want this to be a respectable series, so I want to see it through with them.

    Signed. Hope it makes it.
