Final Fantasy XIII’s Cid Raines Voice Actor Plays Garrett In Thief

Square Enix announced they will bring the murky Thief reboot to Japan. The Japanese version is slated for release on PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on June 12 with the Xbox One version TBD.

Thief will be localized with Japanese voiceovers and Square Enix chose Yuichi Nakamura to play Garrett. Nakamura voiced other Square Enix characters like Cid Raines in Final Fantasy XIII and Trey in Final Fantasy Type-0. He’s probably best known in the West for voicing Hazama from the BlazBlue series.

Siliconera dove into the English version last month. Here’s what we thought of Eidos Montreal’s game.
