Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labyrinth Brings Out Koromaru And Kanji Tatsumi

By Spencer . March 28, 2014 . 2:02am

Koromaru was already adorable in Persona 3. The little persona summoning dog looks like a puppy in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. Cerberus appears to have darkness spells just like Koromaru’s persona had in Persona 3.

Kanji Tatsumi from Persona 4 is playable in the game too and it looks like he’s bonding with Ken from Persona 3 over knitting.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth comes out on June 5 in Japan and slated for release in fall 2014 on Nintendo  3DS.

  • Such manly knitting.
It’s almost too manly to look at.
    And, Koromaru <3

That King Beetle can GET BENT

Koromaru was my favorite character! Puppies in games always win!

Actually I didn’t really care for Persona 3 and 4 as much as some of the other games and I think they could have chosen some different ones in the SMT universe to get the “milking” of that Persona 3 and 4 have gotten.

Not that I hate these games , don’t get me wrong, I still really enjoyed them but I think the powers that be really could have chosen to expand upon some of the other games simply because some overall all I have found to be way more of an interesting game.

But that’s just me and my thoughts. I will still enjoy these games none the less and I kind of resent amazon for not having preorders up yet.

Well, SMT will get that weird Fire Emblem crossover too.

Plus, this is more like other studios taking a stab at the Persona characters rather than Atlus going out of their way to make these games by themselves. It actually seems like the brilliant way to get these games made by the experts of their respective genres. Dingo for the dancing, Arcsys for fighting, Etrian Odyssey devs for the dungeon crawl.

I think these games will be fun and like I said I did and do enjoy Persona 3 and 4 and think they are great games overall but as characters and story goes, as fun and enjoyable as I found them , I have played mostly all SMT released games in the western territories and frankly I just think there are better characters and stories in other games to choose from.

Its not about the game type its about the two chosen really for all these “spin -offs”

        • Shippoyasha

I guess they are riding on the trends and not just the broader history of their franchises necessarily. Maybe they’ll get to doing something like that eventually when they hit a certain anniversary milestone.

          • revenent hell

That would definitely be spectacular if they did! Though my hope for such a thing is minimal. It will probably be something Persona 3/4 related if they do do something

        ‘SMT X Fire Emblem’

grrrr it’s like both parties responsible forgot to acknowledge that it exists.

        • revenent hell

I kind of don’t care about that game really. A lot of those type of cross over games tend to be kind of badly done in my opinion. So as novel as it would be to have the game my expectations are kind of low for it

          • DyLaN

            Project X Zone? Trinity Universe?

        • Tom_Phoenix

I think it has more to do with the fact that the game is still in early development, so there isn’t really much to say at the moment.

        • Izzeltrioum

          We all know the reason:

–Wii U exclusive– (Now where’s that Yoshi’s Yarn)

It had to get along with another franchise that’s popular on Nintendo to have that little chance of not floppin’.

      • Geo Izumiya

        But SMT VS Fire Emblem was announced like on april of 2012 if i’m right, it has been 2 years and we haven’t got even an gameplay trailer ;____;
