So, A Kamen Rider And A Shogun Walk Into A Video Game…

Bandai Namco Games is back with another colorful Kamen Rider beat-em-up. Since the previous game focused on the Riders from TV, Kamen Rider: Battride War 2 unites Riders from the movies.

Tokugawa Yoshimune, a shogun from ancient Japan, is in Kamen Rider: Battride War 2 since he was a main character in Kamen Rider OOO Wonderful: The Shogun and the 21 Core Medals. So far, that’s the only non-Rider lead confirmed for the video game.

Kamen Rider: Battride War 2 comes out on June 26 for PlayStation 3 and Wii U.

Kamen Rider V1 V2 and V3 from “Kamen Rider the first” and “next” movies would be awesome here, to bad no showa (manly) era Kamen.

    • ForteWily

That would be a little much considering Hiroshi Fujioka.

  • D-Rev

So is Yoshimune going to be playable?

  • Chaos_Knight

Ryugen and Baron kinda out of place when they’re surrounded by Final Forms. They should of switched to Kiwi and Mango Arms.

Those who played the first, how does it compare to other Musou titles? It looks like it’s on the more unpolished side (Hokuto Musou).

That’s what I’m thinking too. I’ve played a few Kamen Rider games and they’re just really not good.

This actually looks like its taking the feedback from the previous game.

The first one, while fun, was pretty obviously made on a budget.

      • 愛憎

Well, I hope I can get some input when the new one comes out.

  • Nitraion

    Hmm no zangetsu?
because he lack of TV appearance?

  • Kioku

I thought there was a crossover with Yakuza Restoration for a moment when I saw the shogun.
It’s nice seeing the movie riders in the game
