See Neptune’s 3D Model In Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II, often abbreviated as Neptunia VII, is a direct sequel to the PlayStation 3 RPG. A teaser said "the biggest threat of the series will arrive" and a "goddess who fell to the dark side."

A scan from Dengeki PlayStation shows what Neptune looks like in Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II.

One twist is Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II will have an adult Neptune, but she is a different Neptune so she cannot transform into a goddess. Neptune will be joined by a new character named Uranus Uzume who has red pigtails and carries an orange and black megaphone. There may be another new character with blonde pigtails that an online report speculates may be a goddess.

The story of Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II will span three dimensions – Zero Dimension Netpunia Z: Ragnarok’s Goddess at the Edge of the Cliff, Hyperdimension Neptunia G: Gold Bellwether – Gamindustri’s Existence Transformation, and Heart Dimension Neptunia H: Trilogy Final and Thus into the Legend. The last subtitle looks like a jab at Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest since it uses the Dragon Quest III subtitle. A little tidbit about Neptunia G is there are four characters and Gold Sade was mentioned as a character too.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II is slated for release in 2014, but doesn’t have a set platform.

As long as they make it more on the parody it was established on (the thing that made me enjoy MK2) and less on 1D archetype waifu material fanservice I’m all up for it. If it stays true to V then I’ll just buy it used and avoid and pre-order bonuses all together.

Now this sounds extremely interesting. I’m so glad I love the Neptune series lol. Adult Neptune looks beautiful as well. Definitely going to keep an eye out for this one =^_^=

On a side note, I was reading some of the comments below and I don’t think this Neptune is the “Goddess who fell to the dark side” because she apparently “cannot transform into a goddess.”

The recent Neptunia games just…..can’t get localized fast enough!!

But this….looks to be the most epic game in the series to date (on which it comes out)! I mean, no Purple Heart sucks, but if there is a reason as to why, I’d love to find out when I play it…in 2 years.

  It’s a main game, it’s almost definitely going on PS3 or PS4. Note that every single spin-off and remake is on the Vita while the PS3 has all the main games.

    That doesn’t change the fact that it can still come out on the Vita. I’d rather play my games on that, than on my PS3….let alone be forced to go out and buy a shiny new $400 brick.
    
    You also have to remember that the PS4 is relatively new, especially in Japan, so the chances of it getting the new Neptunia game are fairly low. So I’d say either the PS3 or Vita is the most likely platform.
    
    Also, you’re not counting the other new game as a main series? Only PP and the Noire game are spinoffs IMO. And Re;birth 1 is essentially a new game, even though it’s technically a remake.

      Think about it. Both Re;Births are remakes, and the first Re;Birth was initially going to be just a simple port. As you said, PP and Noire are spin-offs. Also, U is an action game that nobody’s even pretending counts as a main game. The completely different genre’s a dead giveaway, or you’d be forced to count PP as a main game. (Not to mention that it’s not developed by Compile Heart)
      
      I prefer the Vita over the PS3 as well, but there’s no denying that they’ve put the main titles on the home consoles. Re;Birth is simply a very comprehensive remake, that does not make it a main title.

      Personally, despite owning a Vita and not a PS4, I’d still prefer throwing $400 on a PS4 for it than be forced to play it on Vita. I love my Vita, but for me, portable systems are good for games like Lumines. That being said, the best option will always be multiplatform for others like yourself who would prefer the game on Vita :]
      
      So far though, I agree with Burnspy, Neptunia games on Vita are either spin offs or remakes thrown to a third party developer, while the main games developed by IF/CH were on PS3. I’m thinking this will be CH’s big jump towards the PS4.

-V-2 is not a sequel of V
-VII will have 3 stories:
Zero Dimension will have a big bad to fight focusing on the critical point where the godess(es) gets saved.
Hyper Dimension will be about the forgotten goddess’ whose existence was stolen away from her and the relation between godesses and goldside.
Heart Dimension will be an adventure into the heart of a goddess, her normally hidden away goddess form might become clear in this one.
– The story and gameplay is different for each dimension, they said it’d be like 3 game in 1
– Uzume might be the last goddess in the trailer
-The candidates, IF, Compa and Histoire are going to appear as well
-The Golds Sades in not enemies but rivals of the goddesses, they are also a parody of something…
-2 sub chara shown: Chuko and Seaman(Umi Otoko?), they said Seaman is like Histoire for Uzume
-Because this is no sequel to V, Pururut and Pishe is out of question
– There would be a special battle with an extra large enemy and it’d be different than ordinary battle
– They promised big improvement on customization, combo link and lily sistem
