The latest feature to be added to online RPG Black Desert should be popular with machinima fans: they’ve added camera filters to the game.
As in any online RPG, players will be able to stop and remove their interface to take screenshots. Black Desert’s much-touted beauty would be remiss therefore if we didn’t have the preening masses able to adjust their shot to be as perfect as it can be: Which includes camera blur, fading out of backgrounds, multiple color tones and even moving the camera.
Interestingly, it also appears that you can remain in this mode (though whether with the interface turned on or not is a question mark) and still move around. Maybe you’ll even be able to play it in your own preferred color scheme. There might (though this is pure conjecture) even be a colorblind filter.
Finally, for the eagle-eyed, the eyes of characters follow the camera too. That’s nifty. And a little creepy.
Black Desert is scheduled for release on PC in Korea and Europe.
