Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, Dead Rising 3, and Ryse: Son of Rome will be first party launch titles. Square Enix will also release Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Thief, Murdered: Soul Suspect, and Call of Duty: Ghosts as launch games for Japan.

Microsoft also has D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die from Deadly Premonition developer Swery65, which was announced as a 2014 title too.

hope the 2 people that buy it have fun

    • angelx03

      That’s a rather ambitious number!

      • Adrian Duran

make it 3 if it gets another Tales of Vesperia-esque exclusive

I would wait for the PS4 port, but we all know they would never bring it to the West

        • Surgeon of Death

No chance of them getting another Tales game though. Poor 360 sales of Vesperia kinda killed it :

        • zaidandzhadow

          timed exclusives

      • thnkgod4mentlillness

Well, Microsoft Japan (is there such a thing?) has to have at least one, and I’m sure one American guy living in Japan will buy one. So that will equal out to at least 2.

    • otakumike

      Oh Stahp that stupidity!

      • thnkgod4mentlillness

        But you know it’s true.

    • PreyMantis

      Upbot strikes, again.

  • Revolver Jesus Super Pimp

I’m sure Japan is jumping for joy right now lol. Unless it gets another Tales, or maybe even an Idolmaster game I don’t see this being too big of a hit.

    • thnkgod4mentlillness

Even if it gets Tales and Idolmaster, you just know they won’t stay exclusive.

      • Revolver Jesus Super Pimp

        True words.

  • César H. Sandoval

All these JP X1 exclusives are gonna last like 6 months.

    • landlock

Well the XB360 has quite a few still, I expect the same will be for the XboxOne by the end.

      • darke

A 360->PS3 port was much harder than a XB1->PS4 one though. Especially with all the cross-platform engines out there nowadays.

      • thnkgod4mentlillness

Some shmups, Blue Dragon, Infinite Undiscovery… and that other RPG that I can’t remember… those are the only exclusives I can think of on 360.

    • thnkgod4mentlillness

      All five of them.

  • E.T.993

…Almost a year after we got it?

    • Audie Bakerson

And pretty much the same games we got a year ago…

  • Yan Zhao

I bet Japan are sooooo excited to play Forza or another CoD that they can easily play on PS4!!

    • otakumike

if they even wanted to play either of those…

    • thnkgod4mentlillness

Implying they care about Forza and CoD.

      • Yan Zhao

Obvious sarcasm is clearly lost for you.

        • thnkgod4mentlillness

I did get the sarcasm… hence my own sarcasm… Way to be snarky though m8. Gets you far in life.

  • XaviIniesta

I hope they make another Do do do commercial for it.

    • thnkgod4mentlillness

This is why 360 tanked in Japan.

    • zaidandzhadow

roflmao wt heck is wrong with Msoft japan

  • awang0718

None of those games sold well on PS4, and they will sell far less on Xbone.
Microsoft should realize that the Japanese market is hostile for Xbone and they should just stay from Japan entirely.

  • zaidandzhadow

That’s is called the xbox one cause it will sell one console in japan as it’s predecessor the 360 only sold 360 consoles in japan lol

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

Japanese: Isn’t the VHS a dead format? I can’t set the time of this thing.

all jokes aside, good luck with this One in Japan
