You Can Visit Elizabeth’s Room And See Her Jack Frost Collection In Persona Q

By Spencer . June 2, 2014 . 12:17am

Elizabeth does more than fuse personas in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. The Velvet Room attendant has her own room loaded with Jack Frost dolls where she can heal the Persona team.

Where does Elizabeth get all of her stuff? From requests, of course. Elizabeth will give players fetch quests just like in Persona 3 and reward players that bring her what she wants. Even if you don’t want to take on requests, you still should visit Elizabeth to see extra cutscenes.

Also like other Persona games, players can fuse personas collected from battles. Fused personas can inherit skills and in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth all characters have the ability to change personas. In Persona 3 and Persona 4 that was only a gift that only those with the Wild Card (read: the protagonist) had.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth comes out on June 5 in Japan and is slated for release this fall in North America.

The Elizabeth mess up is funny

    • Persona Fusion accident? I’d laugh if she has that face and the fusion yields Mara.

  • She just gets cuter and perhaps curiouser in this game.

And, definitely gonna miss dat nose.

      • Helloooooooo there…..

  • makubexnas
  • natchu96

I see they’ve been working on their card tricks.

Trying to challenge Igor to poker so they could finally get that jungle gym installed?

    • Mr_SP

;_; Poor Igor’s VA! His death has been forgotten.

      • natchu96

I was under the impression that he was also dead.

Remembering him won’t really help now.

        • Mr_SP

It will help them avoid challenging a dead man to poker.

His emotions are too hard to read to beat him.

  • Kumiko Akimoto

Spoiler alert there’s a jack frost dressed as teddy hidden in the room

  • I want to keep watching these little videos, read even more about the game. BUT. I don’t want to be spoiled ;_;

    • Kevin Lima Ferreira

I don’t think these little videos are showing much about the game. They are really short videos!

  • Ecchitori-san

I was kinda want Philemon to fuse my Personas but I guess Elizabeth will have to do..

  • Shippoyasha

Sweet how Elizabeth invokes the Tree of Sephiroth there.

  • ChuChu

Maybe gonna buy the game just for Elizabeth personality.

Oh, and what happend to igor?

    • Ren

His Japanese voice actor died in 2010. Since then, the Persona Team apparently doesn’t want to give him a new one, and has instead diminished his role in every new game.

If you notice, all his lines on the anime and movies are taken right out from the games, while every other character has recorded their lines specifically for each media.

That’s probably the reason why he had little presence in Arena and why he won’t appear in Q, his already recorded lines wouldn’t work very well in those two stories.

      • ChuChu

        Really!? i didnt know .
        That’s sad man.

      • Hound

That’s terrible. His P3/4 lines worked really well in arena though.

Hm.. Maybe they’ll adopt one or more of the Persona 2: IS Velvet room people to take part in the melancholy freedom world of Persona 5.

Imagine the Velvet room with just people with socially skewed personalities like Elizabeth’s. The place might be more otherworld-y and creepy with Igor gone.

It’d be like the manikin town in Nocturne.

      • It’s so endearing when someone values a person/their work so much that they refuse to hire a replacement.

  • Is that what they’re called in the Persona Universe?

  • NeptuniasBeard

poor Theo. I don’t think he’s been mentioned once so far

  • Afternoon Intergalactic

What’s the name of the track for the first video? I believe it plays in Officer Kurosawa’s Weapon Shop.

  • qetuo6

Man, keeping all the characters at the same level is going to be hell.

    • Hound

If it’s anything like Etrian Odyssey (whose game engine, map-making, and F.O.Es appear here), you’ll likely end up with a single party and sticking with them until level-up items become available to boost a few characters to specific level caps (so you can drop the ones that you were losing patience with.)

  • Steven Higgins

I guess that last one was a Fusiion Accident

  • MSJ

Be nice if Liz would Megidolaon anyone who post spoilers…

  • Hound

Omg. Wait. In that 2nd video, did the attack indicate that physical skills drain HP once again? If so.. “YES!! My masochism is rising!” Can’t wait to see if I can once again toy with death in Q. SMTIV was far too tame.
