Shin megami tensei 4 or persona 4.
i’m considering which one to get

    • alhamega

      both are worth the money.

    • Nan

      smt4 gets my vote, john

    • Prithivi

I’d get first the cheaper one first and then the other, but get both!!!

    • Jero

If you really want to play persona 4 you could do it on the pc with an emulator but you have no other way to play smt iv but to buy it for the 3DS.

      • John Diamond

I prefer owning physical copies of games. and if i am able to buy said game then i’d support the companies making them.

    • Rob

persona 4 golden and SMT 4

  • Thatguy

    What a sweet deal!

  • Prithivi

Who wouldn’t get a 3DS now with such a deal?

    Meanwhile in Europe…

    • Inergio

We had 3D land for free if you registered console and one game.

    • lunier

Why do Europeans always feel the need to bring this up? We get it, you didn’t get the game yet, stop constantly stating that you didn’t get a game in your country. Holy shit

      • Prithivi

It’s as simple as ignoring my comment.

Nah, I’m just pissed-off because we’re getting SMT IV only digital (and untranslated into the language of some countries) after all this waiting and they’re now getting it for free. It’s almost funny.

We complain because, after all, we also pay money for the games (the same amount as you, but in euros) and we have been getting such a poor treatment all over the years. Let us at least complain, what else can we do? And if you don’t like it, please refer to the first sentence of this post.

  • Bring this to the west, please! I want to play Fantasy life on it!

Why are these deals only for XL? Nintendo is competing with itself by excluding the regular 3DS.

    • revenent hell

Actually everything is for the XL 3DS or 2DS and I am becoming hateful toward it.

Every time I look for say a case or “skin” for my 3DS (since I had no choice but to buy a pink one or a 2DS when my pretty black one became hurt) All you can find is stuff for the XL or 2DS that is actually along the lines of what I am looking for. Its irksome.

And to end on a happy note over time I have become accustomed to the pink. It no longer grates me when I play it around people and they pick on me for its color. I learned acceptance of the color pink through these trials.

      • omoiukabu

That sucks, but at least its not a 2DS.

I actually just ordered a regular 3DS (JP) last week. I’m sure there are many others like me that still prefer the regular over the XL.

I guess this problem isn’t new, seeing as the 3DS XL was launched without a charger. Nintendo has been dividing its audiences from the start.

        • revenent hell

Well, when I went to get one, because I didn’t want to order the 3DS online and wait for it. they let me play with all the models.
I found the XL to big, I just didn’t think it was all that comfortable, same went for the 2DS. It looked ugly and felt unnatural while holding it ( honestly I cant believe they didn’t just make it like the 3DS). So I went with the regular 3DS

      • Bacon_n_Lettuce

Reminds me of the original DS model after the DS lite came out. It seemed like the lite became the base model and the original DS was something everyone forgot existed.

  • Jadfish

I got super excited for about 1 second when I saw the SMTIV picture on the frontpage. Sadly, it wasn’t an EU announcement.

I’m happy for the japanese players though.

    • Maurice

SMT IV actually did get a release date in Europe, Q3! It may not be an exact date, but we do know that it will be released somewhere in Q3 2014!

      • Jadfish

Oh sh^t I might have to get a 3DS after all

        • revenent hell

There was no other games as incentive before this?
I have to admit at this rate my 3DS is stacking games it might double what I have for the DS and PSP before to much longer

          • Jadfish

I hate region locking with a passion.

          • revenent hell

Whelp ….Didn’t I just royally fuck up there.

But you guys must have gotten KH3D and Fire Emblem Awakening….I play a lot of niche games so… There’s a lot of Atlus stuff…..

And so it shall continue it seems….

  • powerlessbump

I wonder if we will be able to play Fantasy Life with Japan.

  • revenent hell

The people of Europe should get this as a thank you surprise for waiting so long to get the game (SMT IV).
At least it would be a nice thing to do.
