Nintendo will start this year’s Nintendo Game Seminar, a series of education lectures for future developers, in just a few months. To remind us all, they recently shared a look at four of their favorite games from last year’s seminars, which have been made available for free to download in Japan.
The goal of Poppo Hunter is to help the male pigeon named Popota-san find his wife with the help of two Wiimotes and a GamePad to spread around some food to find the right pigeon.
Once you think you found the right one, you can aim for them and catch the bird.
Hissatsu! Center Heroes is all about “standing out”. As a super hero, above all else, you need to stand out more than the others. So in order to do this, you’ll need to steal the spotlight by getting rid of other rival heroes that taking away your center of attention.
There are options to have 1 vs. 1 battles or free-for-alls of up to five players. The battles can get quite heated when you have characters attacking and dodging all over the place!
Shima Nagame or Island View is a game that has enjoyable views, but the premise is to help a cloud spirit, named Cloud-kun find stars. Since your little cloud buddy can’t find them all himself, you’ll need to help by using items, and such.
Cloud-kun shows all kinds of different reactions, which is also one of the other enjoyable parts of the game. The score shows the time you spent playing, the number of apples consumed, and the number of times Cloud-kun falls down.
Finally, Battle Danchi or Sentou Danchi is about the survivors in an unknown planet. During night time, dangerous creatures appear, so in order to survive, you must build and protect the escape ship that is used to send the survivors to safety.
Once you complete an escape ship, points will be awarded for different things. You can also get the survivors to help you build the spaceship, gather blocks, and fight enemies.
