Transformers: Robots In Disguise Headed Into Nexon’s Kart Riders

The tagline for Transformers is “Robots in disguise”, and there’s no better place for a bunch of vehicles (well, mostly vehicles) to hide than amongst others. That’s why they’re collaborating with Nexon’s Korean version of Kart Rider (above) to join the racing game.

As part of the collaboration, you’ll be able to pick up Optimus Prime and Galvatron as characters for you to race as, alongside other items to deck yourself and kart out with.

Kart Racer itself is an online racer where players drive around tracks, with various powerups to slow foes or speed ahead to the finish line.

Kart Racer is out now on PC.

At least it’s the right optimus

  • A short while ago, places ran a story that said NEXON and United Front Games were working on a f2p game. Now, they’re most famous for Sleeping Dogs and all (which IS excellent), but I now wonder if they’re maybe working on a new cart racing game for NEXON instead considering that UFG’s also done the great Modnation Racers & Littlebigplanet Karting titles for Sony? I didn’t know NEXON had a cart racer until right now, but… it looks like they need a new one :P

No offense; KartRider looks fun. It just also looks like a PS2 game. An early one.
