Bandai Namco has a sequel to the Dragon Ball card game and Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 actually includes a set of super rare cards for Dragon Ball Heroes if you get a first print copy. The Nintendo 3DS game has a new Ultimate Universe mode that isn’t in the arcade game.

Players can also play through Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission all 21 chapters of the previous 3DS game with upgraded graphics. If you played Ultimate Mission you will be able to import avatars, cards, and game progress into Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2.

Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 is slated for release on August 7.

  • Nothing wrong with card games every now and then, but I would much prefer a new, proper DBZ RPG. The Legacy of Goku series on GBA were the best. Maybe the team behind all the One Piece games can swap places with the team behind the DBZ fighting games so both anime can have the games they SOOO need.
