We’ve already seen this bad boy twice before in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate’s latest trailer and cover art. This week’s Jump magazine reveals the monster’s name and a few of its characteristics. [Thanks, @Kazu4281].

The flagship monster is officially named the “Thousand Blade Dragon, Serlegios (セルレギオス or Serulegiosu)” and he’s a powerful gold-scaled monster that goes around destroying lands using its sturdy legs.

It also has long claws to go with its characteristically long horn, that looks like it could do quite the damage should it hit a Hunter.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is slated for release in Japan on October 11, 2014, and in the West in early 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
