As many guessed from Atlus’ recent teaser site with a picture of a giant tree, a remake of the second DS game in the series, Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir was announced for the Nintendo 3DS. Famitsu provides some more info and a look at some of the characters.
The first trailer for Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir shows off a look at the game’s setting along with the five main characters, and some dungeon crawling footage. While the original game didn’t feature pre-made characters, similar to the previous 3DS remake in Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl, the second remake installment will have its set of characters, as well. Here’s another look at the five characters:

Bertrand and Chloe.
Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir will be released in Winter 2014 in Japan for Nintendo 3DS.
