    Amazon is always right.

    • InfinityAge11

Hah. I was just thinking along the same lines. I’m surprised that both dates they had for Ultimax and PQ were correct.

    • Manny Being Manny

Why do online stores like Amazon always have the release date months before the company announces it themselves? Its pretty much just a formality to announce release dates nowadays…

      • Byron Kerrison II

I think they were placeholders but in the end decided to go with it for whatever reason.

      • M’iau M’iaut

Those window dates (which are often actual) are provided to the retailers so they can create their own SKUs, leave enough shelves open in the warehouse, carry the right amount of on-hand stock insurance, etc. Things needed for the business side of things. AMZN just chooses to make them public.

*Places Teddies face on sept. 30.* Bear hunting season starts

  • Byron Kerrison II

So, liek, I heard Margaret gonna be paid DLC…?

    • http://www.spaghetti.com Kaisenex

dont really know that yet, hope not ;/

      • Byron Kerrison II

        Ditto…

  • Shippoyasha

Same date as Shinovi Versus? A lot of games are bunched around late September and early October. I guess Christmas comes early this year.

    • dawnbomb

and the same week as smash bros 4, so many major fighting games released at the same time, one of them should probably get delayed a week to increase profit and give us a time to actually play them all.

  • AuraGuyChris

    That preorder bonus is genius.

  • Quizler

I could wait until this game went on sale but they sucked me into preordering with the cards.

  • Manny Being Manny

    Fairy Fencer F
    Hyrule Warriors
    Ar no Surge
    Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
    Senran Kagura Versus
    Arcana Heart 3 Love Max

All in the same week or so

    • Kornelious

Close…Ar NoSurge and Hyrule Warriors come out the week before and Fairy Fencer F got swapped with Natural Doctrine….Trust me, I’m good with this stuff :D

    • Suriel Cruz

Fairy Fencer f is set for September 16! ^ ^

    • Jey

How could you *possibly* forget about Danganronpa 2??
that game alone is in my opinion worth it over anything you mentioned (even Hyrule warriors)

*edit* oops, i forgot you mean within one week.. derp

    • Revolver Jesus Super Pimp

Senran might be releasing in October

  • megamanZ95

laughing cause Gamestop has had the release date right for 3+ months

    • roockie112

      Exactly!

    • Steven Higgins

      Coincidence.

  • Kornelious

Alright! That’s one out of three games finally confirmed for the September 30! (Arcana Hearts 3, Shinovi Versus, Persona Ultimax)

I hope that all those extra’s come in a nice Limited Edition box! :D

  • http://www.gamrah.com/ Jarop

I’m a little confused, is the story of the first game going to be released as DLC for the second like in Japan or is that a region exclusive thing? I missed the first one and wouldn’t mind bashing through the story in that

  • Mirai

Yeh this news isn’t really a surprise since a lot of retailers had September 30th as release date already.

    • Steven Higgins

But until now that was only a place holder. Place holder dates are always the last day of a month.

  • Guest

why they release the good games when school starts!, so sad

  • http://people.ign.com/rob1610 rob1610

Lemme guess the European date. October 13th
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    2015

    • shadowind

I was thinking more like the year 21507, to be honest!

    • Satoshi Ookami

Wasn’t P4A2 announced to not be region locked?

      • http://people.ign.com/rob1610 rob1610

Yeah, but what has region locking (or in this case, unlocking) got to do with when a game gets released? Based on the first game’s release schedule, that’s an accurate interpretation. But this time there are factors in place that suggest this could release in Europe about 2-3 months after the US.

        • Satoshi Ookami

I meant that you don’t need to actually wait for the EU version now.

  • AnotherTime

A placeholder date that works? Color me surprised. And it’s on a Tuesday too, so it follows that one trend.

  • FivePointedTheStar

September 30th? That’s… what? Five days before Smash 4? Oh man…

    • Keiji Johnson

I know man! I mean, two anticipated fighters coming out a week of one another? I seriously feel like this is like torture for us or for our wallets…

      • colorblindnightmare

Hell this year alone is nuts. Chronophantasma, UltraSF4, P4AU, Fighting Climax, And GGXRD-SIGN-. Jeez. Sucha good year for fighting games!

    • leingod

I’m skipping the 3DS version of Smash, so P4 will totally help me endure the wait :D

  • MinakoArisato

    Awesome!

So how about the European people?
    Retail? When? Ever?

  • Jake_Indiman

Ughh…So close but so far away….

  • Snorlaxation

Pre order for the tarot cards, download Marie, Adachi, and Margaret, and then purchase the game, then …download the original? Never actually beat it, and still want to.

  • Mugetsu

Oh a punching bag? How convenient, it’s like inviting us to rage on it while they spray DLCs.

  • Afternoon Intergalactic

Digitally importing to start grinding it out a month early, and then getting the physical version after it releases stateside! Way too excited for this game, I can’t stand it.
